I FIGURED NONE OF STEVEN'S STEEL TYPES WOULD GET AN ADDITIONAL MEGA BECAUSE HIS SIGNATURE POKÉMON ARE AGGRON AND METAGTOSS, AND AGGRON ALREADY HAD A MEGA.

To be fair, Mega Metagross was the most likely mega evolution since it was the champion's main pokemon. I'm fairly hyped about it but I need to see the 3d model in full because from that scan, it doesn't look THAT appealing. Stat-wise, it will probably get a boost in attack, defense and sp. attack. I don't really care for a speed boost since it wouldn't help THAT much. People have speculated it might get Touch Claws or Iron fist to raise it's attack even further and also levitate to give it ground immunity; I would prefer the latter but we'll have to wait and see.

Dude! I was thinking the exact same thing! Before Mega Evolutions came out, I was thinking, after Eevee gets every other type of evolution, it should get a Normal Evolution that is stronger than all the others. After, I'm like "YES!" Mega Eevee (has to be Normal type) is perfect!
