Kabuto misunderstand. I think he believes that he did add some kind of "extra power" in madara's body. but the truth is, madara already acquired those power in his prime.

I don't need to give credit to it. He's arrogant. Madara is not gonna accept that someone powered him up. And Kabuto didn't give him extra power. He just revived him at a young state, which allows Madara to use his powers to the max. I'm sure old Madara would not be able to use the Rinnegan.
