Really? Where are you from, boys and girls (if there's any girls involved in this nonsense)? I agree that sound quality of rock bands nowadays are hundreds of times better than 20 or 30 years ago, but from that to say that ol' school sucks there's a huge way down. Don't you remember Nirvana, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest....Alice in Chains? Voices, lyrics, guitar wonders....legends, ppl! Don't get me the wrong way: I'm more into rock music now, hardcore mostly, but always paying my respects to those who started it all. Don't you? Shame!!!

I listen to some sometimes and I love how it has evolved. I admire the hard work they put in so we could get what we have today. ^__^

I said i agree with you on that, but that's different. It's not an 'ol' school sucks' kind of statement what really fits here. I listen to Dimmu Borgir, Craddle of Filth, Demon Hunter, Black Label Society, Eluveitie...but the old days were great. And i'm only 27, not that old.

The old sound is better in kind of direction. In 80-90's the atmosphere where different form now. the good and the bad is gonna always be in the music world now and then, but in the old sound there wasn't so bad songs written than now.
