You have it all wrong.. You fail to realize that this a power from his Rinnengan, it's a path ability.. That's one of the reason why Sasuke could match up with naruto because of the many power/ jutsu/ abilities that the Rinnengan offer.

It would be completely different if Sasuke wanted to become the ten tails Jin, but he don't or want to..I personally think it should credit Sasuke's prowess and skills to take power from the Bijuu and added to a Susanoo and make it stronger... Genius

Preta path is part of rinnegan power, he just uses them as chakra supply they dont think instead of him like with nardo

It's "fair" but not. Naruto has his body power (Senjutsu), Sasuke has his eye power (Rinnegan+Sharingan), Sasuke has majority of the Bijuu chakra (The Juubi's worth that Madara had, minus the obvious boost from the Gedou Mazou), and Naruto has the minorities worth (which he has had since before Obito's reveal, sans Shukaku and Gyuuki).

Sasuke control Bijuu's power with the Sage's eye while Naruto does it with the Sage's body so yes it's the same thing. Both requires skill and prowess to use such power. I don't know why people even use borrow power, Sasuke got more powerups but just because its Sasuke we overlook that and only count Kurama? As for Natural energy, that's free energy all around that doesn't belong to any given being except Earth so to say Naruto using that being considered borrow power then air is borrow power since both air and chakra keeps a ninja alive.

Doesn't matter what they use as long as they make the power theirs in their own way.

honestly i don't think that was preta path,it can't be used with susanoo on(madara said that when onooki destroyed his susanoo clones viz translation),not to mention preta path is used on a close range. i honestly have no idea but to describe it as power of the plot.
also naruto did all the fighting and the thinking from the moment he was revived,i never saw any bijuu coming up with a plan for him.
and still naruto with a small amount of bijuu chakra competes with people who not only has the power of the ultimate eyes but also the power of all bijuus.such an amazing control he has on that power.
