Of course, weasel yourself out of it after saying he was canon in the first place. What happened to the part where he was canon because he was Oda's creation ?

I will cheer myself up with the thought that there is no chance in hell that the manga ever will tell me that Z's not canon. But there is this ever so slight possibility that every time we see Weevil that there will be that one panel with that one guy that says: "That's the guy that chopped of Z's arm".

And when that time comes I hope you have plenty of aloe vera around because it will be the sickest burn ever.

Instead of siding with people who don't know what they're talking about, you're better off siding with Oda. Doing that since the start and it saved me from taking guys like you seriously.

I didn't say he was canon because of Oda's creation, I said he was canon because I thought the color spread depicted him in the background with all the past Marines AND his Film Z iteration, which is non-canon. When I looked at the color spread again, I saw that he was NOT included in the past, just his non-canon iteration was seen, so my reason for saying he is canon was no longer applicable.

Not really. I said in a past post that Z's past where his arm was cut off by a Shichibukai could be canon, but to say that like it's confirmed fact is faulty because it's still very much in dispute. I never denied that Z's past COULD be canon, I just said I didn't think it was and that it's disputed.

Oda has never said they were canon though, so there is no siding with Oda on this. You say Skylar doesn't know what he's talking about, but he actually is correct, color spreads are not canon, though I'd say character depictions/appearance in them are canon, just not the spread(example, a color spread that shows Law dressed in a suit of armor. Things like Law's color scheme is canon, things like him being in a suit of armor at some point of his life isn't).

Well it's undoubtedly true that I am pretty great looking back at what I've already achieved in my short life. However I'm not going that far as to saying that I know One Piece better then Oda.

Not having a single reference in the manga will automatically make Zephyr non-canon, unless Oda says otherwise.

When did I say I know One Piece better than Oda? Because I showed scans from Oda that pointed out that the Film is non-canon? Because I said the lack of Oda including the backstory in any canon material means it's in dispute? Are you stupid or just looking for any excuse to be the guy everyone is jumping on?

Oda also went into detail about Zephyr's backstory in volume 1000 which was handed to attendees just like volume 0 was given out with strong world. Volume 1000 also revealed Coby and Helmeppo's new ranks and designs which are yet to be shown in the manga as far as I remember, I'm pretty sure its safe to assume that their info is canon.

It does get a little gray though, because the volume also mentions Luffy beating Z in the timeline.

If one set of info it mentions isn't canon, it brings the rest of it into question. We'll need further inclusion of the backstory in indisputably canon material.
