Doflamingo is not dead. The solution to this is not him being a Logia.
The Definition of a Logia:
"Logia is one of the three Devil Fruit types. It is characterized by giving its user the ability to turn into a natural element or force of nature. "
Sorry to bust your bubbles guys but Strings are:
a. not a force of Nature
b. not a natural Element
This being said he can only be a Paramecia (which FYI has already been confirmed and has been Manga FACT ever since Marineford).
He is a Paramecia.
However, Doflamingo is not dead. I mean: he's been hyped up for over 500 chapters! That would be the biggest mistake of Oda's writing career. Ever.
This theory is not mine but is somebody elses, they go by the name LuckyRoo20 on OnePieceBay, sorry bro but I don't know your username here!
A very plausible and in fact highly likely theory. It explains why Doflamingo always looks awkward when still and why his movements are very jerky. He needs his creepy and sadistic side to his character back. We've seen too much of a caring man recently. And I think the scene where he picks his head up and sews it back on before cutting Kyros down would be perfect.
Once again: the theory is not mine!

Just a short theory from me on Doffy's DF regarding this chapter. Let me explain how paramecia's work
1)Paramecia affects the body(Luffy)
2)Paramecia produce material(Magellan)
3)Paramecia that affects the enviroment(Whitebeard)

People need to stop rushing to conclussion. I don't think Oda would build Doffy up like that to have him defeated so easily. If this were Attack on Titan I would accept he's dead. But this is One Piece when a villian dies it is a long satis factory process.
My Breakdown: I think Doflamingo has a Paramecia type that affects his body and produces material. Let me expalin a little deeper. I feel Doflamingo Spinal cord is one long rope string. And his head is obviously connected this rope string. Including all his arms and leg being connect by strings
Why Kyros didn't kill him?
Kyros didn't kill him because he didn't cut the string that attaches Doflamingo's neck that runs from his spine to his kneck.
Doflamingo Acrobatic movements
I always use to think it was random that doflamingo dodges were so awkward. But he dodges awkwardly because he made up of strings in at the central parts of his body like his spine and limbs.
