Explain this okay. Madara is shown with a scar on his chest from the sword.

So let me get this straight, he had a scar from the sword, which grew into Hashirama's head. He used izangani which reverted his death, but somehow he still had a scar, which would mean it would have still been an open wound when he woke up from death to just die again? Okay, now let's say he woke up from death via this very unexaplined plot and say that izangani removed all battle damage, which it looks like but he got his eye sealed. How did he get the scar? Who knows. Maybe he stuck hashiramas 'meat to his heart with super glue made from some jutsu. This is ****ed up. I'm sorry, but this chapter ruined too much.

But the Izanagi was set to go off after some time, it should have completely healed.

remember that danzo has senju dna Madara didn't have that so i don't know what to think of this.
It looks like you can use it directly and indirectly.

1) Izanagi is used to escape death i.e. a fatale blow
2) The images are probably from different times and/or arent actual visions of the past (like Tobi w/ the Ten-Tails)
3) Madara has Hashirama's face due to Kabuto modifying his body.
4) Not understanding something =/= Not true or "plot hole"

It's been a while that fans are the one who answer to this kind of question !
so why would kishi bother himself to even think about it!
