What If Kakashi was the jinchuuriki instead of Rin?

What if that same incident happens but Kakashi takes Rin's Kunai to the heart and dies in front of Obito?

I Have no doubt he'd kill the ninja all around except Rin but then what?

Does he go back to some old recluse in some random cave with project moon in mind? or...

Does Obito chase the **** like he's always been and go back to Konoha with Rin? Who we kidding.​

That's simply the catalyst that Obito took as a lesson to confirm Madara's logic. You can think of it as Obito's evidence that the world is "In Hell". The context for that statement wasn't about the war anyways.

Rin indeed shaped him but it's vital to understand his motive beyond her death, not just the death itself.

Obito's backstory was poorly done, it would make more sense if the love was mutual rather then one sided.

Now Obito is one of the best villains in the manga, and one of my two favorites the other being Nagato.

But his backstory could have been done better.
