Okay tell me if I'm wrong because I'm getting super confused at the moment.

First Black Zetsu says Zetsu are a by product of Infinite tsukuyomi and then not a chapter later they turn around and say Zetsu are Hashirama's cultivated clones....

Soooo am I right in thinking that Zetsu are in fact true Hashirama clones (as in real clones not funky mutants, clones that looked like Hashirama exactly) that have been put into Infinite tsukuyomi using the gedo mazo which then twists the clones into these weird gooey zetsu.

Because that was SOOOOO not made clear in that last few chapters.

No White Zetsu are the bodies of those captured by IT, they only got power ups from Hashi's DNA.

People trapped in IT will become zetsu.

Madara used Hashirama's cells to essentially create lifeless bodies, which in turn BZ implanted with IT victim's souls in a way.

That's how I interpreted it.

Hmmm sooo what Madara just grabbed a bunch of people and attached them to the Mazo while implanting Hashirama DNA into each of them? Then why are they all clones then? If each person was unique then each zetsu must be unique.

That means he must have created true Hashirama clones to attach to the Mazo....

I'm sorry I didn't realize you could put lumps of flesh inside Infinite tsukuyomi....lol

Or is it like having a seed in the form of Hashirama's DNA and having the Mazo use the side effect of Infinite tsukuyomi to create full beings...

U mean the white zetsu army? They're just clones of the white zetsu. White zetsu was a victim of MT. How he can use wood jutsu cos he probably got enhanced by hashi DNA or something.

I mean we know now that Black zetsu is not the same thing as white zetsu, BZ is something different. White zetsu though has always been stated to be cloned androids of Hashirama. I'm just asking how it came to be that the clones of Hashirama were made into zetsu.

I mean if you clone Hashirama you are not going to get white goo lol. So that means something must have been done to his clones to make them. Or was it only 1 clone of hashirama which was made into white zetsu which was then mass produced by the mazo?

I'm pretty sure, the upcoming chapters will explain this :S

If you actually read the chapter and understand what's going on, you'll realize that white zetsu was created from the process of cultivating hashirama's cells inside the gedo mazou

Black Zetsu is a white Zetsu from Kaguya's first IT, the black part is Kaguya's will. I think she did the first IT in order to give all of the chakra to her sons as a gift. She felt totally betrayed when they tried to seal her because she was doing the IT out of love for her children. Her love then turned to hatred and thus BZ was created when her will attached itself to a white Zetsu and escaped.
