Ok.....this question may seem dumb..but..what is sasuke thanking sakura for?

Their encounter in 699 was...no doubt quite intimate based on the connotation associated with the forehead tap in sasuke's life. Why did he thank her though?? What the hell was he thanking her for?? Yelling "sasuke..naruto" all the time?? being a fan girl??? I must know!!!!!

Like Necromancer said, Sakura didn't give up on him (except for that one time she tried to kill him XD) But really, even then she couldn't get herself to do it. I actually thought the SasuSaku was fairly well done - just like with Naruto, Sasuke desperately tried to sever his bonds but failed in the end. Naruto and Sakura never tried to cut their bond with Sasuke like everyone else did.

Because she was close to him,and went out of her way to try to keep him in Konoha.She also offered to go with him,and help him achieve his revenge,she showed that she truly cared about him.Team 7 is like a family for Sasuke,which is especially important considering what happened to his and how lonely he became.
