Plus Jiraiya wasn't aiming to harm Naruto, and likely didn't use Sage Mode or anything besides taijutsu and a sealing tag.

Orochimaru has more sustainability, which is why he was able to survive against 4 Tailed Naruto for so long. But that doesn't mean he could harm him or stop him. Different skills for different situations.

Sage Mode Jiraiya defeats Orochimaru without ET, and Orochimaru has never shown the ability to use even an imperfect form of Sage Mode.

His curse marks were senjutsu chakra, Kabuto needed Oro dna to reach sage level, Oro knew about Juugo and his clans ability to assimilate nature energy(like sage mode) Oro knew the location of Ryuchi Cave, Kabuto said he learned the ways of the sage but his body at the time was too weak to sustain it which means given a healthy body(hence the body transfers) he can activate sage mode. On top of all that with the war we got a real glimpse of one of his main goals(aside from learning all jutsu) and that was the So6P, everything at the end of the manga implied Oro was studying the Uzumaki and Uchiha as a means to access Hagoromo(whether Oro knew to what degree is unclear)

jiraiya had terrain to his advantage. literally giant pipes and narrow ways to escape with his palms together that restricted him from using hand signs against one puppet who could only use one path which was spam giant animals. what if jiraiya was fighting in the same place he had the sannin deadlock back in part 1, you really think unrestricted orochi will find it that hard to chase down jman? someone who can literally bind folks with a simple handsign and has genjutsu of their own?

Yes, I do. Jiraiya has dozens of toads who each have their own Sage Mode to combat any and all of Orochimaru's summons. There's no need to run and hide.

I feel Jiraiya can kick some Oro´s arse for a while however, I always felt Oro´s sub jutsus and spamming snakes made him just slippery, plus his venom´s a great advantage, and a permanent one. SM´s got healing included but Oro could force almost any opponent to stretch their chakra a bit too far. Once again you have to ask yourself one question_?

CAN JIRAIYA SEAL ORO? Actually he could very well seal Oro in a scroll or immobilize him as killing him seems unlikely. In this case Jiraiya wins, anyways
