let's list the amount of things hinata has in common with sasuke's preferences.

-quiet, doesn't annoy him
-byakugan, basic form of sharingan
-long hair, same color as his mother's
-future clan leader
-isn't obsessed with him

so far she is miles ahead of every other girl in konoha when he considers his options.
once she realizes naruto doesn't want her... who knows. :3
