Well, this is a simply taijutsu manoeuvrer that allows you to block your opponents Kick or Punch, and then take advantage of their off-balance state to attack.

My clone will run at you and then perform a round-house kick to left side of your head. I want you to use your honed reflexes to catch his shin and hold it, followed up with a swift round house kick of your own to send him flying away from you. As you move to catch his leg, be sure to duck into a fighting stance to maximise the power of your attack.
Since my clone will be kicking with his right foot, you'll use your left hand to catch his leg and your right leg to kick him.

This will also work if you catch a punch, although you'll have to step back slightly as you catch your opponents wrist otherwise... well you want have room to kick him xD

Description: Using their honed reflex's, the user intercepts an opponents punch or kick by ducking to the inside of the kick or punch, and grabbing the opponents ankle or wrist using one hand. The user then delivers a powerful round-house kick using the opposite leg to the arm that caught the opponent, kicking them with such force in the side of the opponents head that it sends them flying back sidewards to mid-range.
Notes:
- Can only be taught by Shinta,
- Can only be used to intercept taijutsu without full-body elemental enhancements such as lightning armour,
- Can only be used four times a match.

What are some advantages and disadvantages you can see with this technique?

Interesting and useful technique.

Castiel notices your clone begin to run at him, and performs a round-house kick on the left side of his head, from there Castiel ducks to the inside of the kick and uses his left hand to grab your clones shin, as Castiel holds your shin, he performs his own round-house kick using his left leg to perform the kick.

Con: I guess, you can only perform it if the attacker is using a taijutsu based technique that has no elemental enhancements; so just a plain old taijutsu move.

Pro: It gives you the power to counter his move and also in the same move able to perform a simple yet powerful round-house kick?

Yeah that works, and it doesn't have to be an actual jutsu you intercept. Any free form that fits the criteria will do xD

You may even be able to make it work against a few Kenjutsu attacks if you word it right. ^^

Type: Offensive
Rank: B-rank

Description:
The user will perform the seals Dog → Rat → Monkey, then the user gathers a small, but intense amount of wind chakra in their fingertips, usually the index and middle finger. Then, the user gives their target a single tap. Upon contact, the wind chakra is released all at once and slams into the target, causing impact damage and sending them flying back. The user can jab their finger deeper to cause even more damage than normal and can use two hands to double the effects.

Pretty how this works, you have to be close to the person obviously. You perform the hand seals, and gather a small amount of wind chakra in your index and middle fingers, you then will proceed to give your target a single tap anywhere on their body. All your wind chakra will be released from your finger tips, causing damage to there body, but the force of the power will send them flying back also.

Good thing about this technique is that, you can jab your fingers deeper into the said persons body to cause more pain.
Also, you can use two hands to double the effects, but remember one hand counts as one of the three moves in battle.

Now, I would also like some advantages and disadvantages as well. :p

So two hands would make it roughly A-rank damage, but would take up two jutsu slots?

The hand seals... forming them in a close-combat engagement would make things pretty difficult, making that one disadvantage. Any jutsu that relies on you getting in close is an issue in itself really. ^^

Having wind as a speciality would make it easier to perform and mix in with taijutsu, making it an advantage. It's also good for sending people away from your personal space.




I'm going to try it on... my own clone xD

Charging my wind chakra into the tips of my fingers, I perform the three hand seals where I then slam my fingers into my clone's lower rib-cage. I press deep so as to break the two ribs I hit as I then release the wind chakra all at once, causing my clone to be sent flying away from me. The impact of the wind causes even more damage, breaking several more ribs as well as the damage of hitting the tree that was behind him O__O'


I like this jutsu a lot actually xD
