Both the Sakura and Hinata threads just don't seem to die just like the annoying characters they are based on XD

Both these girls get more arguments than the main characters

Wasn't it apparent that Neji's death was a mere ass pull used to develop Naruto and Hinata's characters and/or their relationship? Seriously, that came out of no where.

Yes, his death was simply a plot device to get the rusty gears of Hinata's laughable dream churning. It disgusted me. But, Neji still remains one of the most well-developed characters in the manga. If only Kishimoto had not killed him for pairing, I would have had some respect for this author.

Neji should have been killed back in Part 1 against the spider guy.It was a more fitting death than the fodder one he got just for NH to happen. What a waste of a good character

It was much more emotional too. That was when Neji was at his peak of good development.

Killing off Neji for a NH moment was trashy.

It was more of Naruto moment actually, since it was slap to his Messiah Complex and cut down his arrogance a notch .... Which provided answer for the loss Naruto will eventually face during his journey. The fact that Hinata was the means it was just convenient sub plot. But someone had to die and someone had to make an impression on Naruto and thus come up with answer to loss and defeat, honestly it Neji dying Hinata inspiring fits better than Shikamaru dying and Temari/Sakura inspiring.

Neji just seemed like a random one to kill off. It makes me wonder why Kishimoto brings back so many other characters like Kakashi, Gaara, hell even Shizune ffs, but kills off Neji permanently. It's a shame how he tries to protects his characters with plot so much but then wants to kill off someone who had much potential just like that, but i guess it can be a good sign that Neji is dead. At least he is free from his clans cage and can die knowing he protected someone he cared for.

Nevertheless, Neji's death was one, if not the worst random death in this story. Deaths like Jiraiya, Chiyo and Asuma were appropriate deaths because their trust was already given to the next generation so it was expected. Neji is still a kid who could have lived his life even longer and experienced more things.

And Neji's funeral was not even shown in a way that was significant.

That I agree, it really was getting annoying.
This is why ND is not worth visiting anymore.
*Sigh* always complaining.

Neji was one of those characters that deserved development, if the NaruHina was developed then it would make it a little less crappy. Not to mention, he had shit amount of potential him being the head of the Hyuuga clan might freed him from the curse he was facing.
