Sakura is terrible overall. Even without pairings, she's horribly developed for a main heroine.

Not the same thing, I don't think she's a bad character, she's average in terms of character development and her back story is very fleshed out for a side character [more so than Sakura's], she had a good base to work off of, but Kishimoto just ignores her and shove her in here and there for pairings. Neji, Hanabi, Hinata .... Even the whole Hyuga clan .... They're used only to develop Naruto's god awful character and the NaruHina pairing . sad truth .

You see I don't expect a lot from her character. I think she is ok where she is right now. I like her character for what it has provided. Lately she has been getting a lot of hype. I expected her to at least have her own fight for once. She was on the same boat as Lee and Naruto, with that whole "under dog" theme in part 1, but while Lee and Naruo have showcased the fruits of their hard work [not really in Naruto's case] it has yet to and probably never will happen to Hinata. That's one of the many issues with her character, it never got closure in terms of this whole "under dog" theme, nor did it get closure in terms of her role as the Hyuga heir, the only part of her character that got closure was her relationships with Neji and with Naruto.

I'm not gonna deny NH could have used more development. there was such a huge gap of time where it got no development. From 98 to 437. Although there was some interaction in chapter 350-355... but nothing major.

If Kishi was so intent on making it canon, he should have given it more gradual development throughout part 2, or at the very least, give 2-3 more major moments .... something along the lines of perhaps Naruto being there to see Hinata come out of her cocoon thing and smiling or catching her when she comes out or giving Sakura's CPR scene to Hinata, because as platonic as CPR is, there's no denying the connotations behind it in literature .

Naruto at least thanking Hinata for what she did in 437 would have been nice instead of just ignoring him

Kishi ****ed around with the pairings way too much and that's why the ending was so ****ed up. If and when he decided to make NH canon and not, which would have been at least around 2012, he shouldn't have **** teased NS with the CPR, GF comment, and having Hinata trip.

Anyone can see that THE LAST is another of Kishi's many many attempts at damage control. It's also pretty apparent that both Neji, Hanabi [in the movie] and even the Hyuga clan were used as nothing more than plot devices to develop NH, which is pretty pathetic writing I must say, but definitely not something new from Kishi.

There are billions upon billions of **** ups in this manga, Hinata was just one of them .

But going back to sakura, how does her love story revelove or link to her medic skill, her fighting skill, her power???
What is the big difference between kishi and other horny authors is that kishi makes think realistically,
I mean look at Ezra she wears tiny miny bra that cover her nipple and she goes fighting baddy and gets her ass kicked and nastu has to save her while she gets beaten naked (all shitty fanservice not mention female fighting in tiny miny bikni) talk about bullshit and total menwhore sevrice that author is providing
While kishi reprsents sakura very realistically dresses like an average female, creis like an average female, is medic, many females in war are nurses and medic, has good powerful skills,cares for other aka Noodles, tries to save him when he is dying is honest abut her love (rejects guy cause she loves sasuke) very realistic, now dont imagine sakura getting power up and crushing sasuke and nOodles, cause male are stronegr than female, but as female ninja saskura is far the best and far the strongest,
Her whole charcter is good, she was excellent in everything but failed in picking partner, but over all sakura gets an plus rep for everything, so over all she still wining
Also ur were the one u loved sakura, but when she didnt ened up with Noodles u start to bash her, God, ur some crazy NS fan, deal with sakura never liked Noodles
