Hmm, It is part of the story, But he is clearly too strong to be taken down at the moment, he will be debuffed in a few chapters no doubt about it. Its just the way Kishi writes that makes it seem like PnJ.
And yes he will be put in his place, but for now, Madara fans shall bask in the glory.

Orochimaru will most likley take sasuke's side when madara is defeated. Sasuke still has to throw a tantrum and oro will side with him aiding him in a potntial power up.

Why fawn over superficial 'coolness'? what about substance and depth as a character. Shouldn't we like characters that actually HAVE good/admirable/unique character. That is true and I second that but I forgot to mention I know they sit at the top as a matter of fact they sit so high that I don't even include them in my top 10 considering they barely appear in the manga have no feats and we don't have enough information on them.

He isn't tall and isn't short he is 179 CM which is avarge or slightly above avarge.

Naruto is 166 CM

Sasuke is 168 CM
