Oh my lord! I found a plothole!!! Naruto and the Uchiha clan!

Why in the world would that happen? Around that time the Uchiha were already so called being supressed, and the Uchiha attack was the nail on the coffin, the entire clan was suspected as being behind the nine tails attack.. Why would the Third hokage let naruto be adopted by an Uchiha at that time?

On another note, do you really think the proud Uchiha would adopt a non uchiha child ? I pretty much would never see Fugaku doing that, ever

It's a plot hole because Kishimoto never went into full and complete detail about all of this. He never explained why it didn't happen that way! left a lot of open space on regards to this. That is how it is a plot hole!

I've often wondered this myself. Imagine how different the story could have been. Naruto is not all alone. After the Massacre, Sasuke would be friends with Naruto, so he wouldn't be alone. He'd still want revenge, but he wouldn't have to go through the torture of being alone and would be a better person who respects his comrades. His wounds would have healed earlier. Maybe he'd stay loyal to the village

Literally, everything would be different. It would be a much happier story. However, happy =/= boring story, so that's why it didn't happen. In universe, it probably didn't happen because those **** elders taught the Uchiha were going to control the jinchuriki. Thus, making Naruto alone and having him hate the people that hated him without adequate reason is much better solution that couldn't possibly end with Naruto getting mad at the village. They seriously dodged the bullet with that one.

A plot hole is like The Juubi helping Obito despite being far stronger and hating humans or Nagato committing succide because Naruto read him a story despite feeling nothing killing Jiriya and destroying Konoha

Hiruzen only stuck up for them when talks of wiping out the entire clan started rising up... He would never give the fourth's child to Mikoto... and Fugaku would most likely never adopt a non uchiha child, esp one that has senju blood in his veins

A better option would be giving naruto to Kakashi or Jiraya... neither was done because the third raised naruto himself mostly

That isn't a plot hole at all. And Biwako made it so that Kushina barely had any contact with her friends.

Damn! I swear to god I just found one of the biggest oddities in Naruto!!

Remember how Kushina Uzumaki and Mikoto Uchiha were close friends correct? They were friends until the very bitter end I.E. Kushina's death. That also means that Mikoto knew that Kushina was the wife of Minato. That being said, she no doubt knew and was probably the only one in the village besides her husband Fugaku and the Konoha Council who knew that Naruto was the son of Kushina and Minato!

That being said, you would honestly think that Sasuke's mother Mikoto would have adopted Naruto Uzumaki, son of Kushina Uzumaki out of sympathy and grief of the loss of her friend. If she would have adopted Naruto after his mother's death, the entire story/manga of Naruto could and/or would have been completely different from what it is now!

Unless if the Third Hokage Hirizen didn't allow her to adopt Naruto, then a major plothole has been discovered folks! O_O

*EDIT: Ok, I take back what I said about the ENTIRE story/manga of Naruto being different. Afterall, Naruto would have still had to deal with Madara and the Akutsuki as well as the Shinju. Correct me if I'm wrong.
