I dont understand why people are surprised by Sarada tbh.. You can't just put her in the same boat as Sakura just because she has the same combat style as her "mother"... This can work 2 ways with the common denomintor being the Uchiha blood running through her veins.
1. Whether Sakura is her mum or not it's obvious that Sarada has either been trained by or witnessed Sakura training, hence why she fights like her. Sasuke was not around to teach her how to hone her Uchiha skills (namely katon) so I wasn't expecting that from her especially if she didn't use it when she was fighting the Shin clone with Chocho. Now Sasuke's back in the mix im sure that'll change, even if it's the slightest change.
2. If Suigetsu is actually telling the truth about Karin being her mother, then Sarada pretty much has the blood of a sage (Uchiha + Uzumaki). Therefore she's going to be OP off the bat in my eyes. No surprise there!
Either way I strongly believe that the extent of her power wont be restricted to smashing rocks, so instead of jumping to conclusions just wait and see what else she'll have to offer.
