Monday Night Raw 08/29/11

I just finished watching Monday Night Raw SuperShow where they had all the superstars from both rosters come over and wrestle. The Randy Orton & Ziggler match was pretty good overall. Sin Cara's match was a botch mania match as usual and the tag team at the end was a failure.

I knew that Nash was't going to wrestle Punk at Night of Champions but I knew Punk would have a match. I thought it was sweet that now the match is him & Triple H. Should be a good match.

I hate Cena and the stupid promos and pushes he gets but Alberto can definitely make Cena look like a good wrestler.

Overall: 7/10

Cena is a good wrestler. People who say he can't wrestle either are looking for attention or just following an ignorant trend.
If he wasn't a good wrestler he couldn't have pulled classics like Versus Shawn Michaels or CM Punk and don't tell me he was carried away because he was not.
About his promos, they got worse and worse since 2005 and he became a product, not much he can do if that's what Vince tells him to do.

I've always hated Cena, every since he threw Edge into the water. He is just such a representative of what I was grown up to hate. The Attitude/Invasion Era made me to hate people like his character.

CM Punk carried that match on his shoulders at MITB 2011 and honestly without Punk, that angle would have never worked. He carried that storyline.

You do know that was storyline, right?

Everyone has bad matches, Cena had the only 5 star match on Meltzer's list of the wwe in the last 20 years. That's says something... He is not a crappy wrestler, once again you are just being ignorant and following a trend.
Almost no insider says he's a crappy wrestler, just the ignorant kids who think it's cool to hate Cena.
And you should re-watch that match if you think he was carried. I do agree that Punk was the one who shinned on that storyline but that's because it's on his contract that he can do shoot promos now, which gives him much more room to be entertaining.

He's not awesome. While his wrestling skills are decent if he has a good opponent, his mic skills pratically went to sh*t since 2006.
He has/had the potential to be as good as The Rock or Stone Cold but Vince ruined him by turning him on an 2000's version of Hulk Hogan.

However most people that hate him are just ignorant people who think it's cool to hate Cena and know nothing about wrestling. It was cool to hate Cena in like 2007 or 2008, we are in 2011. Get over it!

Actually I like both Punk and Cena, though seeing Cena due that hole Superman role is getting a tad bit annoying after awhile, but I would rather see him or Punk with the WWE title than Del Rio :/

I don't like how it's been toned down so drastically over the years to PG ratings since they are on USA and SyFy here in the states.
