Simple truths about Uchiha Madara and the mystery of Tobi

Well, if you haven't seen 559 yet, go see it, it is epic. Assuming the information about Edo Tensei on Naruto wiki is correct, we can infer that some things are correct -

1. Uchiha Madara's eyes were taken after death because he still has his sharingan, so regardless of who it was, someone was there, and someone took them, probably recently after.

2. Someone is wearing the EMS of the combined MS's of Izuna and Madara. Therefore, whoever took them had to have been older, because it isn't like Edo Tensei, the eyes do not stay perfect for years.

3. Someone, most likely Hashirama, really did beat a powerful EMS user, so props to him.

4. Tobi was either watching the battle, or somehow figured out what happened because he gave explicit details about how he "died".

5. Madara is not Tobi, though that one is a bit obvious.

Here is my opinion now who is Tobi. Izuna, though at this point, Kishi is leading us in circles, and we are the confused and dizzy puppets. So who really knows, only kishi. But the reason why I believe it is Izuna, is mainly 1,2, and 4 of my above points. The shadow of his former self thing makes a bit of sense now, I think. Madara and Izuna looked like twins, nearly identical until he fought Hashirama. He knew everything about Madara, he knew the techniques of Madara, he had the eyes of Madara, he probably fought like Madara. But yet he isn't Madara. So this also brings up the question, who controlled the fox, couldn't have been Madara.

This is my theory as to the fox being controlled. Back in the beginning of shippuden, Sasuke "met" with the Kyuubi, and he said "Not at all unlike what I saw in Uchiha Madara". This is a hazy area, but I am guessing since Tobi was masked, he only saw his eyes, but seeing as how all sharingan 3 tomoe and lower look the same, it could only have been an MS or EMS he recognized?
So that kind of defeats the idea of it being Kagami Uchiha, though this paragraph is more guesswork. Simply because how would he have an EMS from way back then?

Last point lol, as to Obito and Zetsu being Tobi, It isn't Obito, but Zetsu does still seem like a possibility, because he is very good at hiding, it is just very confusing as we don't have a set timeline of how things happened.

This is just something I realized, why couldn't Danzo and Kagami have plotted together with Tobi, it has been shown that at some point that they met up, so Danzo probably plotted with another elder to give the spot to Madara, as he though he would become the next hokage. Just because he was gone, maybe he went to meet Madara to give him the information, while Danzo stayed behind to show he was worthy of being hokage with his strength xd

have you thought of this? ok it says that obito died in the village of grass right. Zetsu is from the village of grass, and he said that he found someone on one of his missions. thus he found Rin, but what if he actually found obito and took his eye, And the Zetsu u see now is a clone(and if your wondering oh why isnt tobi's skin black and white? hes zetsu he can transform, duh!). Then it also could be obito in the end because it never said he died it jus said he got crushed by a boulder.. now if im not mistaken kimimaru took 200 tons of sand pressure and come out of it, and a boulder compared to that is nothing. so what if he woke up lost his memory zetsu found obito and now they are a team.plus that would explain why tobi has bolts in his gear; to hold his bones in place.Also, ever notice zetsu is never by himself unless he was specifically sent to do something.

When I saw the name "Obito" I stopped reading this ....

I also believe, that he is split in 2 bodies. One of them might be Izuna, especially because Madara and him where on the same level in everything.
I also made a theory about it, which could explain this, but I am too lazy to re-write it, lol.

Tobi is probably a Zetsu clone that has somehow become a clone of Madara. Its the only thing that makes sense considering everyone believed Tobi was Madara and considering the fact that he knew so much about Madara's life. However, the idea of a 'split soul' is completely ridiculous to me. To me, Edo Madara contains his original soul and Tobi contains the soul of the original Zetsu.... again its the only thing that makes decent sense.

However, the whole bit about Edo Madara knowing about Nagato and expecting to be revived by his Rinne Tensei is quite confusing..... the only explanation I have in regard to that is that Madara did indeed survive the battle with the first and didn't actually die until after he manipulated Nagato. Seems to me that Tobi (or Zetsu Madara) was around for quite a while, possibly Madara's "apprentice" and took over for his plans after Madara finally kicked the bucket.

Again, things get confusing though considering Edo Madara's apparent age. Edo Tensei seems to bring you back just as you were the moment before you died. If thats true, wouldn't Madara look older if he didn't die until he manipulated Nagato?? The whole thing is beyond explanation at this point, but this has got to be the biggest day in naruto history, in terms of plot progression for a single chapter.

Madara and Tobi

Madara and Tobi are most likely the same person. but they are also two different people. Look at their eyelashes, same eyes. But Tobi looks older and Madara just got revived. Since Madara mentioned Nagato, I believe he made Nagato use his Rinnegan to use "creation of all things" and create a doppleganger, tobi. but this is weaker than the real madara, so he had to collect uchiha eyes and rinnegan and tailed beasts. Also the Kyuubi said "you!!" when tobi controlled him to attack konoha, so he recognized him.

There may be TWO Madara's in the current world. JUST A THEORY, what do you think...

Forgot to mention, when Tobi tries to show his face to Itachi, Itachi's eye reacted because of Itachi's commands. This means, Tobi really has no desire to hide his identity to Sasuke and that Itachi already knows what Tobi looks like.

Edit: The reason for this thread was to end all the suspicion that Tobi = someone else. The very least is that Tobi is a clone, another Madara from Izanagi, split person, at the very least his brother (very unlikely), but it cannot be an entirely different person. Btw, Edo Madara and Tobi both have the same gloves. No, really they do.
