Hello everybody! I'm new here, so I wish you all the best!
I think that Tobi is Izuna Uchiha and here I have some evidence:
1. Height and weight are the same(you can see the information on narutopedia)
2. Tobi has similar hair with Izuna
3. Only Izuna had the sama chakra as Madara, he was considered to be at the same level as Madara, he was the only one who new Madaras every tehniques.
I know that Izuna lost his eye and was declared dead, both what if he knew a special jutsu that permited him to cheat dead?

Obito.....Reason?

Obito's right side was crushed by the boulder, his left eye transplanted. Kakashi said that his friend died but what if he didn't? What if he was saved. What if Obito was saved by Zetsu and was given a brand new right arm made from what Zetsu is made of, which explains why he could regain limbs. Obito always talked about peace and wars. So maybe Madara told Zetsu, prior to the Obito event, to seek out a follower that would carry out his plans before his death.

So Zetsu tells Obito how he can change the world and tells him to go by Madara, his alias. Obito agrees and is informed about the history of the Uchiha and the Sage. Kuro-Zetsu has a relation with Juubi. Shiro-Zetsu has a relation to the Senju. Obito works to get Madara his Juubi body, but it backfired.

(A friend's theory. I believe Tobi is Madara though. :/)

I believe that "Tobi" is the Senju Clan ancestor. According to Narutopedia, "He inherited the Sage's "body", willpower and physical energy and believed that love was the key to peace."

I believe that him inheriting the Sage's body is what has kept him alive for so long. I think he worked behind the scenes to bring peace to the ninja world through the Senju clan until he realized that there would be no peace. With this conclusion formed, I believe he gave his brother's eyes (The Uchiha Clan's Ancestor) to Nagato as a child. Nagato is a relative of the Senju clan due to the fact that he was an Uzumaki meaning he could use the Sage of the Six Path powers. After Nagato failed and turned "evil", I believe the Senju clan ancestor became disenchanted with the ninja world. That's why he "took back" the Rinnegan.

I believe he has either inherited the "Curse of Hatred" or has lost hope with the ninja world. He sees that his father has failed to bring peace to the ninja world so he wishes to become the Ten Tails jinchuriki, like his father was, to truly bring peace to the ninja world through eternal Tsukuyomi.

I believe the Naka Shrine is the answer to these questions as well.
