But impure world resurrection summons back the soul of the dead so if madara's soul is in the IWR body then how can it also be in that masked body???

Anyone can cause an injury and you know what else? Most injuries heal. And it was stated the so6p had 2 sons whats to say that madara wasnt a descendant of the older son and he wwasnt scared of him but he didnt want the real story to be brought out

I said, it might be Madara in one form or another. Maybe he is some sort of clone, created with the help of Zetsu. I'm pretty sure it's none of those mentioned in the poll. Just follow the link and read what i've written in the other thread.

In any case at least Fugaku would have had a reason to betray konaha...since he was already planning to overthrow it's leaders anyway.

Obito, Shisui, and most of the other people that have been discussed have no reason to hate konaha...Shisui and obito gave their eyes away to people they thought would protect the village.

The only other person I think is plausible is Izuna.

Please read the whole post folks... I explained that zetsu clones can take the exact form and chakra of a person. Even if you kill the zetsu clone it can stay in the copy form. We saw that with Kisame. It was a zetsu clone that A and Bee killed but it looked lime Kisame even after it was dead.

That means if he used a zetsu clone onthe night of the massacre, that itachi would have thought he killed his father but actually just a zetsu.

This concept can be applied to any potential "who is Tobi?" candidate. It seems like too much of a stretch of the plot just to give a character an alibi as to why he is not dead or too young etc. All just to make this theory work.

Basically, this theory is completely dependent on what is mentioned in this quote. And what was mentioned in this quote is in turn is itself a theory.

Dont get me wrong. Your theory is still very plausible. Its just that your theory is more dependent on other plausible theories than it is on facts.

I actually believe that his own greed is what caused him to sacrifice his whole clan. I think he never was able to activate MS so he is using his kids to create EMS so he can steal it for himself.

Also I want to point out that it was Danzo hiruzen and the othe elders who told itachi to kill his clan, and I think Fugaku let him do it so he could activate his MS.

Firstly, Itachi already had his MS before the massacre. Long enough for Danzo(and others) to become quite knowledgeable on the subject of Itachi's MS abilities. Secondly, Fugaku was aware that Itachi was the prime suspect for the death of Itachi's best friend. So it would be pointless for Fugaku to let Itachi continue with his mission if Fugaku really did know about the mission.
