Okay .. so i've been thinking about this for a while and i thought a would make this for a discussion .. and i know they might be alot threads like this but i would love to hear ur opinions..So firstly lets write what we know so far about Tobi..
-He is an Uchiha[probably .. he might have stole those eyes too .. like Danzo etc]
-He is rly Old[probably from the First/Second Shinobi War]
Secondly lets write who curtenly arent Tobi..
-Shinsui Uchiha [Reason: he is dead + when Sasuke fought with Danzo why would he want to take his own eyes .. If its Shinsui he wouldnt need that lol +he had 2 sharingans(shown with Konan fight) so its not for the second eye too ..]
-Madara Uchiha [Reason: in the new Manga chapter we saw that Tobi isnt who he said he was Madara ... so for Kabuto to summon Madara he must have died ]
-Obito Uchiha [Reason: Well in the Ninetails attack .. he was too young to + to be on equil terms with Minato when fought for the Ninetails control .. and its said he had the Will of Fire within since he died for the sake of Konoha so i dont think so ]
-There were other Uchiha character but no hard evidence of being Tobi or even resembling him for that metter..
Thirdly im gonna write some charcarters who it might be Tobi..
-Kagami Uchiha [He has the same hair like Tobi.. he is rly old from the time when Konoha is founded and he knows Madara as a clan leader and mby its his hero thats why he speaks like he was Madara. +he has been through 3 wars and thats why he wants to control the world thought eternal peace(The Eye of the moon plan)
-Izuna Uchiha [becouse he knows so much about Madara + becouse Madara was betrayed by the Uchiha he has a good motiv to betray them and leaf (ninetails attack)
-Some new character who we are going about to meet .. becouse Itachi implanted Amateratsu to instaly burn when Sasuke saw the eyes of Madara so it might be some character who stole Madaras eyes etc..

It might even be Zetsu ...its all connected to him .. he is the key to all this ..

So i hope u read it all .. and pls give ur honest opinions .. i rly like to know what do u think .. do u agree or disagree..

I think identity of Tobi has something to do with Rinnegan, Zetsu and Nagato.Maybe someone stole Madara's eyes which forced him to take his brother's eyes.

Yea i thought that it might be Nagatos real father? since he "gave" his Rinnegan plus said in the new manga chapter that Nagata has grown but i guess time will reveal

i thnk it could be madaras brother who is actually tobi because madara does have both madaras eyes and izunas eyes and he could have very easily lied about himself

When the real Madara is brought back notice how he mentions Nagato and thinks Nagato revived him. Tobi was blabbering on about how Nagato's powers were meant to be used for him. So there's obviously some connection between Madara coffin and tobi since they both expected Nagato to do the same thing with his powers.

My guess is that the man behind the mask is Madaras brother Izuna.

On second thought: Can not be, Izuna and Madara are as tall as Itachi and Itachi was shown to be shorter Tobi in the manga.

i would go with obito because he somewhat resembles tobi but seeing as he would have no reason in becoming evil & because of age ,

Just read the manga and that was pretty epic!

Okay, i think that Tobi is still Madara.

Madara is resurrected by edo tensei from using his cells.
Do you remember Zabuza? He was fighting Kakashi again in the war accompanied by Haku. Then, next thing happened after he was defeated was he was summoned again by edo tensei as one of the seven swordsman.

Tobi is Madara's soul in other's body. And it is not Obito because Tobi is not using an uchiha body for the sole reason that he can't deactivate his sharingan.

It just so happens that there was a conflict in Madara's plan. His plan was to be revived by Nagato but in fact it was Kabuto who resurrected him using edo tensei.

no.... zabuza was the one that summoned the six other swordsmen.... then making it seven swordsmen, he didn't get summoned.

no... it isn't madara.... we all just saw that madara is dead was summoned in the war.

so it's still a mystery.... WHO IS BEHIND THE MASK?

Obito, duh i told you all for the last two years that it wasn't Madarra But no body listens to me. Unlike Izuna, Obito was never 100% confirmed to be dead.
