The battlefield is the Obsidian Hollow, a sunken crater born from a forgotten cataclysm. Its floor is a labyrinth of jagged black stone, cracked wide to reveal glowing seams of molten fire that pulse like veins beneath the earth. Shards of obsidian jut upward in cruel angles, reflecting every flicker of flame as if the battlefield itself were a shattered mirror. Ash falls constantly from the sky in a slow, suffocating drift, coating everything in a funereal gray. The air tastes of metal and smoke, heavy with the promise of combustion, and each step echoes too loudly, as though the Hollow itself is listening.

Natural energy flooded his veins, seeping into his flesh and bones until cracks of viridian light glimmered faint beneath his skin. Across the field, Magnus stood amidst the jagged obsidian, his outline sharpened by the glow of molten seams. Akhwera read the distance, the terrain, the fractures in the stone and the drift of ash, his cloak draped around him, his hand twitched.

Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be moulded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and can heal (for 10 damage per turn) for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception and reflexes are enhanced by x3. Their strength increases, empowering Taijutsu techniques and Ninjutsu by +30. Additionally, Genjutsu cast by the user are empowered requiring the opponent to use Genjutsu release, of one rank higher than what is normally required. Lastly, the user gains access to toad anatomy, Sage Art: Frog Kata and other physical feats granted by Sage mode.
Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again. Once per battle, the user is able to instantly activate Sage mode, with 10% of their maximum chakra reserve as Senjutsu Chakra.
Note: Perfect Sages can convert a maximum of 40% of their total chakra reserve.

It instantly sank with a sudden drop and speed, dragging him down in a grinding collapse. Edges cracked and screamed as they tore from the surrounding crust, shards splintering upwards in a spray of black glass. The earth swallowed Magnus into a pit twenty meters deep and ten meters wide, its walls raw and jagged where the disc had torn loose.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Akhwera's hands locked into a single hand seal, and the pit was converted as its obisidan walls and floor immediately dissolved, stone breaking down into a cascading torrent of black sand that poured inwards. Two meters thick of the walls collapsed in on themselves, while five meters depth of the floor beneath Magnus liquified into a seething black mire, dragging at his feet as he sank. In a single breath, the pit became a drowning grave, its walls collapsing inwards as the flood of volatile ash filled the pit, swallowing and suffocating Magnus.

Kayakuton: Tochi No Tenkan | Gunpowder: Conversion of the Land

Description: The user of this Jutsu will begin by perfroming a single handseal molding their earth and fire chakra together and permeating it in to a preexisting source of land. This land doesn't specifically need to be earth. But does need to be earthen in nature meaning it can work on terrain such as sand or elements composed partially of earthen materials such as some metals such as steel. The technique works by breaking down the material in to gunpowder in a similar method to Gaara grinding earth in to sand while adding the chakra to create the right balance for gunpowder. Due to the nature of this technique it can be used both as a stand-alone and an enhancing technique. The former stand-alone version being used to create pillars and various formations of gunpowder. Due to the somewhat sticky nature of gunpowder the constructs can be quite malleable allowing them to be controlled and shaped further with hand movements and upon striking an object, a spark caused by the friction of the impact will cause the gunpowder to explode violently. Additionally by clapping their hands the user can detonate the gunpowder remotely by causing a spark of fire to form in the powder. The enhancement version can be used to enhance other techniques as the name suggests. With a clap of the hands during another Jutsu the user can cause it to become laced with explosive gunpowder enhancing the Jutsu by +20 when it detonates or strikes something (host technique retains original S/W). Due to the nature of gunpowder it can be combined with a lot of elements of earthen composition or even wind techniques. However it doesn't combine primarily with some elements. . However this technique cannot convert other C.E. terrain into gunpowder, however in that case the technique will create a layer of gunpowder across the landscape. The user can use this to break down earth release jutsu by over powering them, working on the same rank or below.

It fell like a continent breaking loose, slamming down with a deafening crack that made the obsidian walls shudder and split, driving the black powder into suffocating waves that surged and compacted beneath its weight. Ash spiraled in the air as the Hollow itself seemed to groan under the force.

(Senpo: Seishitsu Omoi Futan) Sage Art: Natures Heavy Burden

Description: Using the natural energy in the area, gathering it in the air above the target, like the natural energy that is used throughout other moves such as the frog kata. The user will manipulate the natural energy to form a flat square surface in the air, like a brick wall that is lying like a platform, which will then drop down on top of the target. When this flat surface made of natural energy drops down on top of the target it will feel as if a giant boulder is dropped down on top of them, pinning them to the ground with great blunt force, enough to crack the ground beneath them. Essentially when it strikes it will force the enemy to the ground break bone and crushing them beneath its weight.

Staring down his latest victim, Magnus felt a sense of thrill. A feeling that reverberated with his own creation, Bela. The two were one as they were bound through their connection. Mangus gripped the Wado Ichimonji in his right hand, while Bela held Yaru in here. With a dark colour forming around their foe's eyes, Magnus unlocked the true prowess of his own eyes as his eyes passively spiraled to reveal his 3T sharingan and then his EMS. With this, his affinity for the spirit attribute increased to 8.

With this the two would act in unison. The ground would plummet 20m. Magnus for feel the strength of his foe, yet they chose to just put them in a hole? Laughable. Magnus mentally tells Bela to swing Yaru with all her strength creating a massive wave and he will do the rest.

With that, Bela swing Yaru, releasing a gigantic wave of breakdown in front of them and up towards their foe, aiming to destroy everything to long range leaving no escape. This would be empowered by not only her sword, but her innate strength (+20 to all her attacks.

With in the same time frame, Magnus creates two linking portals. Each portal 2m wide. The first portal is to the right of Bela. The second portal is 1m behind his foe. With this, part of the breakdown wave would pass through the portal, exiting the portal behind their foe, hitting them from both sides.

With everything in front of them annihilated, the pair would run forwards up the ruble towards their foe.


(Wado Ichimonji) - Held by Magnus (Reference)

Description: The sword has a pure-white hilt with a circular handguard. The sheath is painted white, and the hardening line is suguha or straight blade. Wado Ichimonji is a Shinogi Zukuri style Katana that has a traditional yet still stunning pure-white ito wrapped around a gray samegawa covering the tsuka (hilt), leaving a traditional diamond-shaped pattern. The end has a nice, simplistic kashira of the same colour as the tsuba. The tsuba, or crossguard, also conveys a harmony of simplicity: It consists of a rounded oval thick tsuba from which the blade goes through, in a nice metallic golden colour. To once again convey the beautiful simplicity of this blade, the colours of the edge are divided in perfect equality. The inner bo-hi is a deep black, while the outer ha, or edge, is a shining white. The blade curves slightly towards the end, with a stunning sharp tip that cuts through foes.

This unique blade binds to the wielder's spirit creating a connection between the two. Due to this connection, the user's spiritual techniques flow from the blade will have their damage increased by 20 (Ronin, AF, etc). With the blade connected to the user, as long as it's in the users hand, it is also connected to their chakra network, attuned to the flow of the users chakra. Should an external entity disrupt of change the flow of chakra, the blade will release a surge of chakra through the user, rejecting the foreign entities. This surge is a spiritual surge of 60 chakra and can only be used twice per battle, with three turns between uses.

With the blade being bound to a persons spirit, those with the ability to control the Atavistic Flames can use the sword to draw on more of their spirit to further enhance the power of these flames. Up to three times per battle, the sword can cause the user to expend 10 spiritual health points to increase the power of an Atavistic Flame Kenjutsu by 20 additional damage (Stacking with the swords bonus though not bypassing buff limits). This can be once once every 2 turns. Once used, the user will regain 5 spiritual health per turn for 2 turns.

[Yaru: Night] - Held by Bela (Reference)

Description: Yoru is a black blade forged by a great smith who infused it with yang release making it sentient. Yoru is an ornately decorated and very long blade with a total length of at least 6 feet. On the hilt of this blade is a cross guard, though the bars between the blade and the hilt are much longer than average. The blade itself is pitch-black with a very strong sheen, a single-edged long sword with a slight curve at the end of the blade. Overall, Yoru looks like a large black cross. Though the blight was forged in such a way to remain light.

It was forged with a large portion of yang chakra giving it it's own sentience. With this the sword came to life in its own unique way, it was still a sword, solid like steel, sharp enough to slash flesh, but it was more than just that. Yaru could bend it's shape completely, sliding around like a snake having it's own form of movement while still being a blade, much like how Samehada can bend it's shape and still be sharp with it's scales. Though, it's intent wasn't always pure, having used to have a white handle, he served many owners, though those he deemed unworthy he would kill, staining his handle until it was blood red. This sword held a few unique powers:

  • Being able to absorb and store chakra he can also sense chakra within short range of it knowing the difference between each one, the type and who it belonged to. It can sense anything that has a life force. It can absorb jutsu be releasing a black aura around it, this aura will negate jutsu and absorb the chakra into the blade storing it which it can then be used to cast jutsu with that require sword, rather than using the user's charka. The sword slashes as the aura spreads out acting like a vacuum drawing in the chakra causing jutsu to dissipate. This can only be used 3 times costing a move each time. This vacuum can reach up to short range (5m), it can absorb a maximum of 60 chakra per use though only store up to 100 chakra at a time in total. Anything with more than 40 chakra will fail to be absorbed. Two turns between uses. Counts as a move per usage.
  • Being infused with Yang, it is granted a form of great vitality, durability and strength. Due to this, it's kenjutsu techniques are passively increased by 20 damage, this would include any jutsu that require the sword to be used as a medium, flowing through it. Freeform attacks are excluded from this boost.
  • The sword would have a mental link with it's owner sharing what he could see and the chakra it sensed.
  • The sword handle has a unique ability where the user can extent it to form a spear, allowing the user to fight with extra range and use it for jutsu requiring a spear/Bisento. This can be done passively

( Doujutsu: Sharingan ) Eye Technique: Copy Wheel Eye - Passive

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.

( Doujutsu: Eien no Mangekyou Sharingan ) - Eye Technique: Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye - Passive

Description: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning " Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the final step in the evolutionary state of the Sharingan. While Mangekyo Sharingan is but an imperfect Dojutsu, unable to sustain and keep its own power, weakening with each use, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan brings control and balance to the power wielded. By merging the users own MS with that of his sibling, the use is able to awaken the EMS. The EMS grants the user the same abilities granted by MS but to unsurpassed levels. While granting the user the ability to perceive the world with increadible insight, it also grants the user the ability to see through S-Rank visual illusions and track the movement speed of almost anything, perfecting the already amazing abilities of the standard MS, like casting Genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as a line of sight to the target is available. A unique feat however, is that once the user awakens EMS, he loses access to his normal MS, transitioning from 3T form to EMS directly. While MS damages the user as time passes and severely tires and drains the user as its used, the EMS doesn't. The user can keep it active without losing his eyesight or damaging himself and can use the normal MS techniques with no activation reduction or drawbacks. Its true that the chakra cost is higher, but the user will feel little to no effect in his stamina and energy. Through his EMS, Madara gained the ability to control Tailed Beasts by forcefully using his sharingan genjutsu/mind manipulation abilities to take control of the Bijuu and temporarily sever its connection to the host. If the Jinchuriki is in normal form or entering one of the transformations, it's blocked from transforming for 3 turns. If it's in incomplete form, it's forced back into normal form and left unable to access his bijuu for 3 turns and if its in complete form, the user gains control over the bijuu, manipulating its movements/actions completely for 2 turns or until the complete form ends (whatever comes first), leaving the host unable to acess his bijuu for 3 turns.

Description: Farsight is a space/time Mangekyou Sharingan ability linked to both the users eyes. The user will focus on a single spot with his right eye, as he does that spot will glow as sparks spiral outwards tearing open a hole in space, creating a portal to the users own realm, the mirror realm. With this portal open, the user can focus to move the portal forwards of backwards, taking anything that it passes over into the mirror realm. While this spiralling energy tears open the hole in space, it's generally not harmful, but if something is caught in the portal when it's closing, it will cut into what ever is caught dealing 100 damage points to anything caught in a closing portal, as the doorway to the mirror dimension is severed. The portal forms as fast as amaterasu, the focus before the spark like energy spirals outwards. The portal can be up to 2m in diameter. Moving the portal can be done passively. The portals forming are silent. The user can make two linking portals, where he passes through the mirror realm to open up another with one use of this jutsu. He can make the two linking portals without having to pass through them.

The mirror realm is exactly as it states, it's a mirror image of the world we all all see. Just back to front, like looking at a reflection. If the user is fighting in a village, it will look exactly the same but a reflection of it it. If it's daytime in the real world it will be day time in the mirror realm. If it's raining in the real world it will also be raining in the mirror realm. Now what makes this truly unique is how the users left eye works.

The left eye is linked to the mirror realm itself, what ever the user can see in the mirror world he can bend and fold space within. The user can focus on a single or large point to bend the laws of physics itself. He can make concrete seem like a trampoline, he can make buildings bend without breaking, the very air solid like a pain of glass, similar as to how Yin Release: Change into Heaven can change the properties of an element, this power allows the user to change the properties of space in his own realm. From making glass seem like rubber, the air dense as stone to stop someone moving, folding the space in a certain area so the ground becomes the side like a wall, a building is now the roof and what was now right is down, the user can fold and bend space as much as they like. They can't remove gravity or, just bend the world around so the effects of gravity can cause them to fall where the ground is no longer below them. The user is unable to completely change an object, he can't turn stone to fire or solid to gas (or vice versa), but can change the texture and density and state of matter of anything physical he may see, stretching a 10x10 meter area. Solid rock can become as soft as dirt to break through, or glass can become as solid as steel, or even act like a trampoline, changing the physical structure of what he sees rather than converting it to something else.

Description: This jutsu revolves around the use of a bladed weapon, be it a sword, dagger, scythe, etc. The user will release a surge of Breakdown chakra into the blade, coating it in Breakdown Release, this can range from B - S rank, costing 40 chakra at B rank due to the Yang component, going up in increments of 10 per rank. With the Yang within Breakdown, the damage is naturally higher than normal jutsu. This technique focuses purely on the offensive aspect of Breakdown. With the blade as a medium, the user can swing their blade releasing the Breakdown in different forms, from a spread out wave to a focused slice depending on their needs. These waves will have the unique properties of Breakdown in the sense that they give off no heat and will follow their target if they try to dodge. Along with the damage applied on contact, Breakdown will burn away at a targets chakra system. This will affect enemies negatively, causing degenerative effects :

Degenerative:
  • B Rank: Prevent the use of F rank jutsu, reducing the target's current speed by 20%
  • A Rank: Prevent the use of S rank jutsu & above, reducing the target's current speed by 30%
  • S Rank: Prevent the use of A rank jutsu and above, reducing the target's current speed by 40%
This technique, being semi sentient, will only harm those who the user perceives as enemies, while the flames will simply pass over their allies.

Note: B rank can be used 4 times per battle. A rank can be used 3 times per battle, with a turn between uses. S rank can be used three times per battle with two turns between uses with all effects lasting for 3 turns. Following the use of S rank the user can't use Breakdown in the same turn. A rank usage warrants a 1 turn cool down of Hades Judgement, S rank usage warrants a two turn cool down.

By focusing Gunpowder chakra throughout their body, into the surrounding ground, the user is able to create tools and constructs made of Gunpowder. These can range from kunais to full length swords and spears for close combat. It may also include different traps such as rising gunpowder from beneath the enemy similarly to the water imprisonment technique. This also includes pillars, walls and other complex constructs. Whenever the user is in physical contact with his creations, he can at will make it change its shape and form; from a sword to a spear or a pillar to an orb etc. (this does not include rank of the jutsu which remains the same no matter what the technique morphs into). The techniques vary in size and power depending on the amount of chakra utilized, where the S-rank version of this technique allows someone to make jutsus as big as the canon ‘Destructive Earth Rising Pillars’. However when these constructs come into contact with any form of fire or an element that can create heat or a flame, these constructs explode immediately. The user can at will cause a weapon in his hand or any construct on the field, which he has made through this jutsu, to immediately explode (costing 5 chakra). The user can make multiple objects but the power is divided between them, for example if the user makes two swords with the A rank use, each sword will be B rank in power.

When these constructs explode, with the explosive power of gunpowder, the release shockwaves around proportional to the size of the technique that was detonated. These shockwaves contain no chakra and are just a result of the detonation, carrying the same rank as the jutsu used. Techniques B rank and below release a shockwave 5m around the gunpowder. A ranks release an shockwave up to 10m around the blast. S ranks and above release a blast 15m around the explosion.Should the user create an A rank construct, when it's detonated but the user or another means, the blast will release a shockwave 10m around, which is a double edge blade, as the user will be struck if within range.

Before Magnus could recoil, Akhwera's knee surged upward like an iron piston, meeting bone with brutal force and snapping his head skyward again. In the same fluid spin, his leg ignited with chakra, power wrapping it in a visible aura as he whirled full circle. The final kick slammed into Magnus torso with bone-splintering impact, the sheer force almost ripping his legs from their confinement in the black powder.

Quickly after the knee in the face the user completely spins around while infusing his leg with chakra, you will see the chakra surrounding the users leg, this is how much power is put in to the final blow. The user kicks the opponents torso in the desired location with sheer force. This will knock the life out of any opponent an send the flying, and may even go through a weak enough opponent.

So as discussed. The ground below you would be destroyed due to the angle my Breakdown is coming from. With that you'd take the full hit of the attack and be left out in the open. Due to your SM, you'd take 130 damage, leaving you on 30 health. You suffer the effects of being hit by the Breakdown too.

It would seem Magnus had predicted right. His foe tried to escape from the sentient flames of damnation, yet only to fall to them. Alas, it was not over yet. With Magnus and Bella rushing forwards, Magnus was now in range of their foe. Through the prowess of his EMS, he could cast an illusion on his foe with a simple glance. Through his visual prowess he looked at his foe binding them in an illusion where they feel spikes of breakdown impale them from behind. These blades of flame would prevent his foe from moving. This was infused with Yin.

At the same time, Bella wound create spikes of carbon to shoot up and impale their foe from behind in all the place that they were impaled by the illusion. This would be natural empowered by her affinity.

(Genjutsu: Abusaromo no Iwari) — Illusionary Technique: Absalom’s End

Description: Making three handseals the user will cast a genjutsu upon the opponent, this illusionary technique causes the opponent to be suddenly impaled from behind by one or several blades, this will prevent the opponent from moving as the blades are all curved and hooked to prevent mobility. Once this has happened figure/figures will step in front of the victim holding the blades, these figures can either be simply visually similar to creations of the sea of life, or they can be a corrupted version of people important to the victim, such as their parents, lovers, friends, or other relatives. This doesn't cause additional effects, the damage caused will be mental damage caused by the blades.
Note: While the victims can't run or walk they can make handseals, so it's not a full body paralysis.

(Inton: Gogyou Gen) – Yin Release: Five Elements Illusion

Description: This technique allows the user to combine their elemental chakra with Yin Release in order to create stronger, more potent Genjutsu. When the user casts a Genjutsu, rather than using their raw chakra they will use one of the basic elemental natures, thus increasing the potency of the jutsu. This technique increases the technique it is applied to by one rank in strength; due to the massive infusion of chakra a Genjutsu empowered by the Five Elements Illusion can penetrate through any passive defense or subversive method against Genjutsu. By using nature chakra rather than raw chakra, the properties of the Genjutsu can change in accordance to that nature and become stronger. For example, using Crushing Snake Constriction with Fire Release chakra would make the snakes appear, feel, and sound as though they were on fire. The user is free to alter the effects of a Genjutsu within reason as long as the primary effects remain the same. Like other Yin-Yang infusions, this technique only increases the chakra within the technique by an additional rank in strength, or 10, whichever is higher.

Description: This is the basic application of carbon release where the user will gather carbon in the air, the ground or create it from their own chakra (spitting it out ect) to form structures of carbon. This can be anything from weapons, to walls, to spikes, domes, anything inanimate which they can use as projectiles as well. For example the user could create a kunai of carbon and launch it at their opponent. The larger the object, the higher the rank. For objects larger, than the user they will need to be A rank. To use the A rank version and higher, the user will need to perform 1 handseal. This can also be used to reshape current carbon the user controls which they can use to attack with again, in a similar way to earth release but on a unique level. Due to the control required, the user is not able to form microscopic carbon, the carbon they gather will be around the same size of a small pebble and so always visible to normal ninja. B rank and below carbon structures can be made with arm movements or a single handseal. A rank can only be used once per turn. S rank can be used 3 times per battle, with two turns in between uses and no carbon above B rank in following turn.
