If 349 is the first episode of AMBU arc, then what exactly is "Reborn: Akatsuki" It's definitely not cannon and the title suggests it won't be a one episode filler before main arc.

Episode 346-347 is mostly Akatsuki related filler mixed in with Obito's flashbacks, so maybe 348 is too.

Well this is a bit more extreme, it's going to be maybe 10 minutes of canon and 30 minutes of filler. The 2nd episode (347) might not have any canon at all.

But it could be ok, the only thing I'm worried about is they might recycle a lot of old Nagato/Yahiko flashbacks.

Hayato Date was asked on Twitter if there are any more big episodes currently planned (in terms of animation). However he denied having any big episodes in the works.

it's always possible that he just doesn't want to reveal any info, but he did give us heads up about Yamashita's episode 3 months ahead of time... So I'm a little worried we might not get another one for a long time.
