Other News: Wataru Takagi, the same person who originally voiced "goofy" Tobi, has confirmed on his blog that he's returning to voice him after the mask comes off.

Wataru Takagi: "I'm back voicing Tobi again. Though now that I'm Obito, I'm injecting some quiet/calm energy into it! This is another major role in a very big series. Roles like this make me nervous, ehehe."

A: There are two specific time frames

• One new title is released between the 7th-10th every month. Animation info for upcoming episodes is also released with this title.
• Three new titles are released around the 22nd-23rd every month

Yeah, he'll be back as Tobi's voice actor, but he won't be Goofy again for sure. And yeah, it's a pain to think that we'll be without new episode for 2 weeks, but Christmas, New Year, people must rest and celebrate.

It's very likely there will be a double episode on January 23rd, so that would make up for 1 of the breaks

Well that's pretty much the only thing left. It's either the Obito flashbacks in January, or the Kakashi filler flashbacks in February.

It sounds like the tobi reveal is going to be December 19th considering the episode after is titled Obito and Madara, but maybe it'll happen in that one.

Might be exciting for some anime fans but I doubt very many of them dont already know who Tobi is. I want to see how the anime handles this though. The reveal chapter had literally like no dialogue it was just pictures....what are they going to do for that in the anime just play some music and show a montage? lol

This pretty much confirms and erases any doubt that was left that Obito wouldn't be revealed for the last December episode.

That's what they did in the manga. His identity was in the title, and his face was in the very last page.

Well that's pretty much the only thing left. It's either the Obito flashbacks in January, or the Kakashi filler flashbacks in February.

But there are action scenes in the Obito flashback right? Imagine Yamashita animating the chapter 'Hell' with extended action scenes like they did in 322. That would be epic .

That's something the Manga can do. The chapter where Tobi's mask was shattered, it ended with him taking the Rasengan, but we didn't have any idea of what the title of the next chapter would be. When the next chapter came out, and it was titled "Obito Uchiha" it was the official reveal.

The anime won't do this. They won't dare end the episode with the mask being shattered, with Naruto saying "Who are you?!" and then the preview clip saying "Tune in next week for Obito and Madara!". They won't do the reveal on a "coming next week.." , essentially.

To be fair, it's still a Japanese anime and I think most Japanese anime viewers also read the manga.

It looks like 343 will also cover 3 whole chapters (598/599/600). The Kakashi shot at the end of the preview is from near the end of 600.

The director posted a new tweet saying "Yamashita is in a rush to finish his episode". So I think we should probably get his episode in January.
