I have received word that my beloved grandfather is on his deathbed. He was always dear to me since i was a kid. The news of it, of course, dumbfounded me and struck a chill to my heart. Then it hit me, what is death? is death something to be feared?

At my age(19), I had a good perception of life, the only thing i feared about death now is not doing/fulfilling the dreams i wish them to be and to be separated from the love ones eternally - that, of which, hurts me the most. The painful or painless way to die is such a trivial thing.

Whats your opinion of death? are you afraid of death?
Light debates are welcome. NO RELIGION, just pure human perception about death.

To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.

Death comes to us all at varying times but generally speaking I would say to not get too caught up in worrying about it.

Live a good and happy life, one that you can be proud of. Tends to be that when you die(slow relaxed death in hospital) you look back on the sum of your life and essentially relive it for a moment. Be sure that when this happens, that it's a happy story.

It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.

I don't like thinking about death. It can be scary. I fear it, but never think about it getting in the way of my dreams.

I just like to enjoy life and be happy.
