Oddity in Boruto's chakra network or Oddity in Himawari's Byakugan sight?

So while I was surfing the web I noticed something that later made me take more clearer screen shots from the said sources.


Here we see Boruto's chakra network from the viewpoint of Momoshiki Otsutsuki.

Here we see Himawari Uzumaki's byakugan sight looking at Boruto's chakra network.

• Now this is episode 18 that came out on August 2nd 2017.

I thought maybe it could be the art but the chakra network for a non jinjuruki HUMAN was always blue, hence why they had Boruto's chakra blue during the movie or any other scenario in the anime or series.

I say EP 18 instead of the OVA because this particular scene was added as an anime original, way after the movie released in blu-ray that contained the OVA special.

Also note that the Jougan plot was non existent prior to the anime.



The heck is going on here? Why go out of their way to make his chakra network yellow, 2 years after the movie?

Or is this just the colour Himawari sees with her white byakugans, a different chakra network.



Boruto's Jougan could see weak-points in the network.

i think it was a mistake by the movie creators making boruto's chakra blue like the anime
when it's probably yellow like narutos

Kishi also supervised THE LAST and BORUTO the MOVIE.



With the AO thing I believe that is just the Sharringan MS tech being active hence him saying the colours of just the right side.

All be it in the manga people had different colours (or at least Naruto did).

I mean either the animators for some odd reason now want the network to have unique colours or they are hinting at something entirely.

It could also be a mistake.

But the anime gets reviewed before it gets ditched out, same with the movie.

Rather the movie was just following the defacto rule of making all chakra networks blue. The anime 2 years later is the one that decided to change his colour.

We just need to wait for Momoshiki to redo that scene in the anime for us to see what colour Boruto's network is again.

I think (in Naruto's case), blue chakra = Naruto's chakra rasengan, and orange/yellow chakra = kyuubi chakra rasengan

OT: Everybody has their own chakra colour, the anime overlooked it for the most part and at times made it clear.

Edit: Okay i've read it now. xD We can put it down to inconsistency tbh. I'm not sure what happened in the last with the blue and yellow rasengans, but it did seem they were trying to restore regular Kishi chakra colors. Naruto's was Yellow while Hinata's turned purple after meeting Hamura.

I have some colored manga scans where i saw Hinata's chakra is light blue, Madara's Susanoo at least is thick/regular blue, Sasuke's is Purple, Naruto's chakra is Yellow, Lee when he opens Gates shows Green chakra and Third Raikage has the same color as Naruto's. I've opened up my regular PC to fix some stuff so i won't be able to provide them just yet

Either way, if it wasn't inconsistency, then Momoshiki's Byakugan is fake/faulty or odd. Not solo queen Himawari's.

Exactly this. The manga and anime are never consistent on this topic. It boils down to the whims of the particular artist.

Though Naruto’s yellow Rasengan’s have been associated with Senjutsu in all of the games I highly doubt that’s a canon explanation. More than likely just to visually distinguish it as more powerful.

OT: I think your on to something with people having different types of chakra. Naruto was prob made blue to make him less like a Super saiyan.
