[Discussion] Oda confirmed Luffy will get a crew of 10 people

Look at this from last chapter, the speaker says, that Black beard has 10 "Giant captains". We know Luffy said he wanted 10 people. I don't think I need to say more, or you disagree?

Also it wouldn't really matter, if the next crew members have unique roles at the ship. Luffy doesn't care about that tbh, he just asks about anyone.

So the SH would only need one more member counting Jimbei? I think it would be fair to believe, it will be someone at Dressrosa?

But it is safe to assume, they will have matching crew size for some major event. At least most would assume that.

i don't get this thread AT ALL , because we already read two times Luffy saying that he would reunite 10 persons for his crew , whether he is the 10th person or not , we don't know.

You people like to misinterpret that quote. Luffy said he wanted at least 10 people in his crew before entering the grandline, which he didn't adhere to as he entered with under 10 crew members.

This is the reason I made the post, we never really knew for sure, if Luffy included himself or not.

But BB has 10 captains under him, so they are 11 including BB himself. I wont just come here and say, that it's not possible to fight 10 vs 11, or whatever. I just believe that BB is Luffy's biggest competitian to finding One Piece, and they will have a face off at the end of the new world before finding One Piece. This is not something I came up with, it's quite a general belief, or so I thought after seeing it before. Sure they may have several encounters along the tour, but the final one, should be at the end I think.

Thus I think we will get another member for the SH U_U

4. Laffitte
5&6. Doc Q & Stronger
7. Shiliew
8. Sanjuan Wolf

10. Catarina Devon
11. Avalo Pizarro

Excluding the horse, those are the 10 fleet captains. (Unless there is one more who we don't know yet, and Blackbeard is the captain of everything--which is more likely imo).

So, Luffy's 10 should not include himself imo.

they need 2 more people. And plus, if its only 10 people in his crew by the end, it'll be kind of boring personally. I'm expecting something like Shanks, he has his main crew memebers, and then others on the ship to handle other things.

Let's hope if Jinbei joined StrawHats as crew-member and not ally, to be the 9th member because New World has more to offer for adventures and islands as equal as Grand Line first part or more.
