The year of sanji was focused on an sanji oriented storyline. His backstory has been told, all that needs to happen is for him to resolve the zeff issue in his mind. This can be done in 6 chapters. Will luffy and sanji et al. get off New Cake island in 6 chapters, no... Will the year of sanji have lasted exactly one year, no.... will it last 10 more months like you are suggesting, no.... My thinking is that the sanji focus will go away as soon as sanji and luffy come to some sort of an understanding, like right after this fight perhaps. Right now its on sanji to make some decision here, therefore it is the year of sanji. Once sanji comes around, which will be soon no doubt, it is no longer about him.
Lololol. Sanji appeared again in one piece on 7-30-15 in Chapter 795 "Suicide" and again on 12-17-15 in chapter 810 "The curly hat pirates arrive". It was announced in late december by oda himself that 2016 was the year on sanji.

By my math the year of sanji is exactly what oda said it was. The year of 2016. However I am willing to say oda misjudged and it will take him a bit longer than a year. But 8 additional months seems excessive. And there was no point I missed. You are just trolling as usual.
No, Monet, Pica, and those Fishman are nowhere near M3 level. The only person with clout Zoro has clashed with so far has been Fujitora. As for Gear Second, that's a mid-tier move now. It doesn't have the same clout as before.Damage control is strong in this one. There is a difference b/w one being weak and one being treated as trash by an overwhelmingly stronger opponent. People who can mobilize cities/towns, people who can intercept Gear 2 are by no means weak in any sense. People who believe it are downright cynical and are delusional to the highest degree. Zoro's opponents were never weak, Zoro's is just too strong for his opponents.

I was talking about strength. It took a high-diff effort for Zoro to finally get Pica out in the open, so the tactics of his fruit are on a whole different level.
There is a difference b/w someone not being at certain level which you deem to be strong and him/her being weak in general. Even Zoro'd look like a joke against a top tier, it doesn't make him weak, his opponent is simply too strong. It was same with Zoro and his opponents.
