I don't like the one-bottle rule. Whenever I've played, I've always gone into a temple/place with a bunch of fairies. >___<
Don't you need the Longshot/Goron Bracelet? And how can you not 'learn' the songs?
Don't you 'learn' the temple ones when you go to the temple automatically? From what I remember...

That's what makes it so challenging. It isn't impossible, but damn near close.

When you defeat a dungeon boss you get a heart right? So how can you beat the game with only 3 hearts?

A heart appears, it is entirely optional whether you pick it up or not. You can just avoid it and make a bee-line for the teleporter.
