I'd argue that if he had others there to pull him back on track he wouldn't have turned out that way. Instead, those waiting for him were Madara and Black Zetsu.


Naruto was about to give up to Obito as well. If he didn't have Hinata there to snap him out of it, he would've given up and probably accept the illusion where everyone would be alive. If only Obito was there then it would've probably ended up the same way.



In the end, it depends on who's there with you in the end after something like this happens.





Weak willed? Only during the moment where he began to doubt himself as a Juubi Jin. His will was strong while he did what he can to pursue IT and again when he tossed that ideal aside and helped Team 7.

the best proof that Obito is weak is the Nunoboko-sword. The most powerful weapon in the world gets easily destroyed during the first contact with "Suubi"s(Susanoo+Kyuubi) sword.
