LAME ?? are you sure you read the same Chapt. i did ??

Did you read the one where he was hugging rin and was like I will make a world where you alive? because that's what I read.

I believe he is doing it for both. Why else would he actually remembers Madara's words about reality, instead of Zetsu's words about the dead brought back to life only? (if that's really the main reason).

One of the plus points of the Moon plan is that he'll be together with Rin and Kakashi (a perfect world would mean that she's alive, hence "I'll create a world with you in it"), but... why he himself wants to be in a genjutsu and why he wants the entire world to be in a genjutsu are two different things. He could've just revived Rin, but that wouldn't fix the hopeless state the world is in. Infinite Tsukuyomi is introduced as more of a threat than a solution, but from Obito's POV he genuinely believes he's saving the world, that he has described as worthless and filled with misery. And he's right in a way, because war and hatred would actually cease to exist if he were to succeed.

And before all of this went down, he already has shown his annoyance with the still standing ninja system (crushing the idea of a "real" shinobi speech). However, I do agree with you a bit. The recent chapter makes it seem like Obito is doing everything for Rin, even though the full picture isn't really like that. Aaand I was hoping to get more backstory on his parents or if there was a specific reason why he wanted to become hokage.

Anyway, the story isn't over. We still need to find out why he attacked the Leaf, helped Itachi with the massacre and why Kakashi killed Rin. These revelations could actually throw a different light on the story.

P.S. I recommend reading the *********** version. They are usually better than mangapanda, but I felt a lot less disappointed after reading their translation.

Thanks for that will read mangastreams maybe it makes it seem better and great reply I agree with it may be for both as someone said even if he revived rin their would still be war and fighting and she could just die again. And as he told minato he said it's to create peace and he told kisame a world without lies.

Plus we have to remember obito was 13/14 then I wonder if the one that stands infront of kakashi today still wants to create a world with rin. If so it's a bit... meh but he has mentioned that this reality is pointless so even if his main goal is rin he still is thinking about ended all this.

I just think kishi should of made it a bit clearer instead of just holding rin and telling her he's going to do all this to make a world where you alive.

Last chapters ended was so much better and is what I preferred all this to be about, I wanted him to in a way forget about rin and focus on changing this world.

Wtf he's not trying to revive rin he wants the Moon eyes plan to make the justu where everybody is together and perfect. Where in the manga does it say he want to revive rin??? Read the manga

Did you read today's chapter he said "I will create a world where your alive" which means his goal is to create a world "moons eye plan" where she is alive so he has done all this to create this world.

Read my reply to the person above this reply it explains more.

Good explanation, a lot of people under-appreciated the depth of the story so far and just jump to asumptions

No everything you are saying is what I thought and was hoping for but in today's chapter he said I will create a world where you alive, which means he is doing this for rin and she does matter.

I thought rin was a stepping stone for obito to realize this reality is hell but now it seems he is doing this to make a world where she can be alive again. Which I find lame when you look at all the things he has done to accomplish this

Yeah man honestly... it is what it is. What I took away from it was exactly what you were looking for. Kishi put obito in a 'hell' that was quite satisfactory to the story, maybe if naruto wasnt pg13 it could have been that much more brutal and made obitos transition to evil a bit more to your liking. But we've still got a lot to figure out, like 10ish years of what obito went through that made him stick to this goal, its gonna be sweet, don't give up on obito just yet

I agree except the point the story "just became lame".
I think the complete Obito story was lame from its beginning.

But recently Obito started to make me laugh.
So this plot is at least entertaining in a humorous way to me. xd
