ok so i think we are all understanding what kishi is doing w/ obito so far. We see that he doesn't want anything to do with madara's plan, so why is he working for/with him now you may ask? i personally think that madara sent hidden mist ninjas to kill kakashi and rin. Remember there was a period where it is stated in the manga where madara had contril the mizukage i think it was the 3rd. So maybe he had the mizukage sent some ninjas to kill kakashi and rin, and made zetsu inform obito what was happening so that he can feel the pain and unlock his mangekyo sharingan. Then maybe the plan didn't went correctly and only rin died. or they sent kakashi to escort rin some where (kakashi a anbu member and rin a good medic to heal someone maybe a enemy from the hidden mist) and they kill rin as soon as obito arrives but zetsu doesn't make him go to help. zetsu told him don't go because you will die (maybe some poison mist was around) obito can't move because he is in zetsu's body. maybe that is the reason why kakashi quiets or his taken out of the anbu ) he quiets because they didn't send the back up he ask for, or is fired because he fail the mission)
