Obito's reason to help in the Uchiha Massacre.

Obito said that he hated the Uchiha Clan and Konoha in front of Itachi because he was acting as Uchiha Madara.

But as Obito Uchiha..
But why Uchiha clan? What did Uchiha Clan did to him?

Obito planned to use IT on the whole world without resurrecting Madara Plus Sasuke doesn't have a Tsukuyomi. So, the Genjutsu used will be a normal Genjutsu but a strong one because Juubi's chakra will be used.
But there's one problem ( I think so)

That's why it was important to kill the Uchiha Clan. He didn't want to leave a slightest chance for the Uchihas to break through the Genjutsu. We have seen, Sasuke and Itachi throwing Genjutsus at each other. Even though the IT gonna be strong, Uchihas, at some point, can possibly break the Genjutsu.

But also he was allied with Danzo.

Danzo wanted to kill the Uchihas more than Obito Uchiha. Uchihas were the strongest clan after the Senju clan. Danzo even wanted to kill the Uchiha kids. But he spared Sasuke only because he wanted Itachi to finish the JOB. "I can kill Sasuke later", this might be his thought while talking with Itachi.

Shisui tried to use KA on the Uchihas to stop the Coup, but Danzo took away his eye at the last moment because that would ruin his plan of taking over the village.

Obito(masked Madara) took away the Sharingans to break the deal with Danzo while Danzo took some Sharingans which he could.

But to be clear, even Uchiha Madara had nothing personally left in the village or in the Uchiha clan after all this years. Even after killing the whole clan there was no mention of Madara Uchiha among the villagers. Even Itachi or Danzo never spoke about him to anyone.

I mean they teamed up for the Uchiha Massacre. Obito himself said this, Also Danzo used Orochimaru as well (vice versa as well)
After all, both have the same goals. Also at five Kage summit, it was Danzo who said that the leader of the Akatsuki is probably Uchiha Madara.

I came up with this thought when I watched the current anime where Shisui talk why and when Danzo gouged out his eye.
