I've seen many people arguing about how Obito was fodderized by Kakashi and trolled by Madara.
I doubt he will die using Rinne Tensei since it would be a wasted opportunity to have him have a talk with Minato. Though it's possible it could happen though I don't see how he'll be defeated if he becomes Jin of the Juubi unless they bring the Sage and his sons back or through another set up plot.
As for the Kakashi thing:
Firstly, he was in Kamui's dimension which is his main source of defence.
Secondly, the amount of chakra he's wasted. Sure Kakashi wasted some too but his was replenished atleast twice.
He had the Rinnegan but if I remember correctly, Kakashi mentioned that controlling the Jins by themselves consumed alot of chakra and using Rinnegan techniques also consumes alot of chakra which in Obito's case, won't be replenished.
And that's if you want to give it an excuse other than plot.
