Obito's plan for war was a fodder plan.

No seriously think about it. Obito's plan was to wage war against the 5 nations using his army of 40,000 White Zetsus. Had it not been for Kabuto, Obito's plan for Infinite Tsukiyomi and reviving Madara would've crashed and burned harder than it did.


Remember that it was Kabuto who brought back the reanimations of various shinobi. Elite ninja from Kage, Akatsuki, Madar himself, the Jinchuricki's and jonin from various villages.

Kabuto amped the strength of the white Zetsu's by using Yamato's own woodstyle. Not like it made a difference. The augmented White Zetsu's were fodderized just as easy with augmentation.

So if you take Kabuto out of the equation; Obito would've showed up with his 100,000 white zetsu army (with no Yamato augmentation), a rinnegan in one eye, EMS Sasuke and tried to fight the Shinboi Alliance.


I'm literally LOL because this plan is so half assed and Obito would've been shitstomped by the SA, Gokage, Bee and Naruto.

The plan was a decent one as the ultimate purpose of zetsus were to draw out Naruto the only one who could find them, and once obito with his army of bijuus got hold of him he would initiate IT and everyone would fall to genjutsu

He never intended to win the traditional way through his army, the kages probably wouldn't have entered the war if madara wasnt there and would have sat commanding the army

and even if the kages and sasuke and anyone else came in no one could've made a difference against the combined power of bijuus

Haha I thought it was because Neji(Zetsu) didn't know who Tonton was, otherwise they could have known it was a joke, since Zetsu was shown to have a bit of intelligence

That's assuming Obito would've been able to control him. Sasuke would've been all blood and rage at that point.

Kakashi proved MORE than enough to handle Obito in single combat.

Naruto with KCM handled the white zetsu copies.

Nah, the only reason the SA managed to deal with the Zetsus was because of Naruto.

Secondly, Obito clearly mentioned that he would have to change his entire plan after Kabuto joined as well so I have reason to believe that he was planning to approach the war with a different strategy.

Third, he wasn't planning to kill everyone since there had to be some survivors for IT. His goal was Naruto and Bee and that's it. If anything, everything else (Zetsus included) waa a distraction to keep the rest of the Shinobi busy while he captured Naruto and Bee to revive the Juubi.
