I hava a questiin. Itachi mentioned that in MS there are two types of special techniques that can be awakened from the two eyes (like tsukuyominfrom itachi's left eye and amaterasu from his right eye) after which the third power is awakened. Then in case of Obito's eye why is it that both obito's right eye and his left eye(with kakashi) can use the same type of techniques? If suppose obito retrieves his left eye from kakashi and replaces the rinnegan with it, will he be able to activate susanoo??

The databook all but state that Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo are the only Mangekyou techniques.

It appears there are different powers awakened amongst the uchiha. Some uchiha are more ninjutsu oriented (obito) others are more genjutsu oriented (shisui) others are somewhere in the middle (itachi, sasuke, Madara and probably izuna). The particular family within the uchiha clan your born into determines what you are more proficient in and eventually determines your ms powers.
