Obito's MS activated right in the brink of death.

Madara state's that Obito's body somehow "slipped" away from rock that should have killed him. He also states that he found Obito's body NEXT to the rock not beneath it. Kaumi is the only reasonable explanation of Obito's survival. His death caused him to believe that he has lost Kakashi and Rin because he was unable to protect them which triggered the activation of his MS right in the brink of death. Besides Madara was too weak to recover Obito from the rock himself.

Obito doesn't need MS to use kamui, he's been using it damn nea since the beginning with only a three tomoe. . .

yeah it was kamui thats the only logical reason but i too think its not an ms tech, he shown the ms a few chapters ago and he used his kamui tech a lot of times with a 3 tomoe sharingan

i don't think so man, Obito doesn't need to use MS/Kamui to "slip" through things, that's just his normal sharingan ability. we've seen it hundreds of times and it's done with 3 tomoe so he just used a regular eye technique without realizing it
