Obito's masks

Does anyone know the meaning behind Obito's masks?
I've come up with something very unique because of last chapter's revelation of a new clan fighting alongside Uchiha's.
1. Mask where he fought Minato: Hogarama's clan
2. Mask he used while in Akatsuki: His space time travel jutsu
3. Mask he's currently used but is now broken: Sharingan 3-tomoe eye and Rinnegan

Is the hogarama a fodder clan or is there a secret behind them that will make them important in upcoming chapters?

At first I thought the first mask represented the Senju clan but now the Hogarama clan seems more likely.

I bet they're just a fodder clan. The only clans that matter in Naruto now are the Senju and Uchiha.

3. Maybe you didn't understand my first comment. The only clans that matter NOW are Senju and Uchiha. All bout the Uchiha's stealing Senju DNA.

because the older he gets, the more he become's obito. so wearing mask, helped him a lot to continue the plan. you know the "I'm Madara" thing.

^^This,when he first met nagato,hoshiko,and konan he was in Spiral Zetsu so when he became *Tobi* he made a mask that didn't look like it was connected to his body(spiral Zetsu did)

Yet he used another mask representing something else instead of that one. But I guess it is to be understood.
