:hypertobi:Obito's Love is more Justified than Naruto's:naruto:

Ok, so I know it's not really talked about that much now, but generally, people dislike the fact that Obito was "in love" and did all this stuff, when in their opinion, it was just a childish crush. But no one really calls out naruto for loving sakura. So i'll just briefly prove why Obito has much more justification for being in love with Rin, than Naruto being in love with sakura, even after the time skip.

First Impressions
As we have seen in the naruto and sakura relationship, sakura bullied and harassed naruto, constantly in favor of sasuke for the majority of them knowing each other. To her, he was trash, a misbehaved kid who was cocky and inferior to sasuke. Up until the forming of ninja cells, she picked on naruto, yet he liked/loved her. It can be assumed that for the entirety of the time she knew him, up until she began to be kind to him, her views and actions toward him where the same.

In the Obito and Rin relationship, we see their first interaction being a positive one. Obito who is seemingly late for the entrance into the ninja academy (seemingly academy student age), feels foolish and alienated. Then Rin appears smiling and hands him another registration form. It can be assumed that their friendship began here.

Relationship
As naruto and sakura's lives became more closely intertwined, their relationship slowly and steadily became better, though sakura made naruto feel bad a number of times, she eventually began to root for him, although very rarely did she vocalize this. Even after knowing naruto for a while she still lacks understanding of him. She also often choose to cheer for sakura instead, leaving naruto to feel like a third wheel. At the late middle-end of part 1, their friendship was established and firmly established after the time skip.

From the time of their meeting at the admissions for the academy, Obito and Rin seemed to have a steady friendship, in all the flashbacks shown not once was Rin disrespectful to Obito, and took time to talk to him and learn his ideals. She was a constant and Direct motivation to obito at all times.
Kakashi/Sasuke (Brief)
Both Girls liked some cool guy, but unlike sakura, Rin never discriminated against obito or put him down for recognition.

Time
While it may seem that Sakura and Naruto's relationship was longer and more developed than Rin and Obito's this is wrong. While Sakura befriended naruto at the age of 13, Rin was friends with obito at the age of 7 (average age of academy training).
Naruto and Sakura's interaction was then put aside for 3 years, and then re-continued for a little under a year afterwards.
Obito and Rin's was constant with continuous interaction from ages 7-13 (under the assumption she died in her 13th or 14th year) meaning that while naruto interacted as a friend to sakura for 2 years (separated during time skip), rin and obito's relationship was for 6 years.

Conclusion
Obito is more justified than Naruto because:
  • Rin was the only one who kindly approuched him at a young age.
  • Rin was a constant motivation and never disrespected him.
  • Rin understood him.
  • Rin didn't discriminate because of her personal love interests.
  • Thier relationship as interacting friends lasted three times as long as naruto and sakura's.

Therefor, when regarding the legitimacy of obito's love, it should be taken as seriously, in not more seriously than naruto's love for sakura, or otherwise a double standard would be present.

True, but i think our young blonde Knows what love really is right now, and found it in Hinata. though Obito lost his does it give him the right to take other's away, and would Rin really want him becoming the monster he is.

Obito's love is for one person, while Naruto loves all people

Sure, after he became the village hero.

When obito and naruto where both still losers:
Naruto only liked Iruka, Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura.
Obito only liked, Rin, Minato and later kakashi.

Yes and no, because Naruto never decided to create a war just because the one she loved died/never loved him. It's not bad to feel in love for someone who doesn't and still think of her(it's common), but it's bad to love someone to the point you don't care about others. It's that particular reason that makes Obito even more childlish than Naruto is

Well i think its reverse

everyone loved him after the village was saved, other than that villagers still held bitter feelings

Naruto loved his friends though, and that earns merit.

However, is Obito justified? i don't think he is, he came into this world knowing what would happen.

Agreed, though obito was far worse of than naruto. After naruto was accepted he was good, but obito never got to be a hero and feel acceptance. His only friends where his cell.

I'm not talking about how he acted as a result of his love, I'm talking about those who call his love childish, while they don't say the same about naruto. However, T Bogard is right.

Naruto fought for the village even before he became the village hero so that is an invalid statement

I mean your still in love with a dead kid something is really wrong. But even if I mean if Rin was alive what could he do to show her the love she needed anyways.

Obito wanted to be hokage as well was my point, but he never had the chance to be a hero.
When naruto was still a loser (obito was always a loser), he didn't like the villagers, he only like the people I mentioned. Obito would have also fought for the village, but remained a loser because he never had a chance to be a hero.
Naruto isn't hokage either
I didn't say he was...

Ouchhhhhhhhhhhh that would offend Obito if Kakashi or Naruto said that to him! Like "Obito you are in love with a dead kid and you are 30" XD

Neither character's love is justified.

But yes, Rin treated Obito better than Sakura treated Naruto.

Only a NaruSaku fan would say otherwise and try to defend Naruto and Sakura's relationship.
