Before you read this, this is not an Obito hate thread o-o It's just discussing Obito's personality.
When you look at Obito, you are staring at a young boy that never grew up. From the moment he resurfaced into the world, he has been stuck in this whole 'illusion' of completing the eye of moon plan; wanting to bring back Rin.
It explains a lot about his personality, his hastiness, his constant use of the word 'trash'. All are traits of a man who has retained the personality of a child who missed out on years of maturing like Kakashi and the rest of Konoha did.
Let's take a look at Obito's flaws:
What is the root of this problem? The infinite tsukiyomi. It seems that Obito has got himself caught in his own illusion; due to meeting Madara he has lived a life isolated for 16 years, during which he doted on the eye of moon plan and reviving Rin in his dreams. It can be easily said that if any person heard about the eye of moon plan, and its abilities, they could fall for it too and pursue that dream and that's exactly what happened to Obito.
He fails to realise that the real Rin will not be in the dreamworld, and only an illusion.
If Kakashi had seen Obito that day when he massacred the mist ninja, things would have been different, and Obito would have returned to the leaf and learned to grow up and accept the world instead of bearing the burden of Madara's ideals and his view of the world as 'hell' itself.
So you need to understand that Obito is not just this 'butt-hurt' guy, but really someone who is stuck in the past.

Let's take a look at Obito's flaws:
- It requires more than the power of just one person to control the juubi; without Madara, Obito would have lost controlled and consequently killed himself and the rest of the shinobi world.
- His failure to accept the harsh reality of death; unlike Kakashi.
- His failure to gather all the bijuu to complete the Juubi.
