Well Madara died, corps was carried away for research, and then izanagi kicked in. Then lived for a while longer, then died, then got edo'ed, then reborn into his own original body, then cut in half, regrew that half, and then got absorbed by a supreme being, and still not out the picture.
Orochimaru did epic survivals aswell. Survived the reaper death seal, survived a full body transplant, sasuke killed him, revived from sasuke's cursed seal, sent into an infinite illusion(?) by itachi, revived from anko. That's stubborn!
Danzo died a whole bunch.
Kakashi has an emotional meeting with his father when he died, but he's still alive.
Nagato talk no jutsued himself to death, got revived.
Garaa died when Shikaku was removed, still alive.
Hashirama and tobirama have both been revived twice.
Etc

So I still think that obito could use izanagi or the second could revive him or though various other potential plot lines orochimaru/kabuto/nagato could still revive him.

But only kishi knows ATM.

Obito being resurrected should only be due the continuation of the plotline. If Kamui is needed to travel through dimensions, MAYBE Obito would be resurrected through Edo Tensei.

Now, if (based on what I think you're thinking) this theory is only a justification for the Tobidara theory to become possible, then no.

For instance, another possibility (supplementary to the possibility of Obito being resurrected) would be Sasuke being able to learn Kamui with the 9-Tomoe Sharingan.
