The best ID for tobi wouldve been the elder son of the sage of 6 paths.

But Kishi chose for Obito and not because of his body. I really don't get why so much people are saying Obito's body is using as a vessel. Why would u use a body that's half crushed with ONE sharingan. And not even MS, three tomoe xd

Its called paths and as you can see that sharingan is boss as hell.
I would use that body as a path myself

It is an MS first off.He needed a vessel to carry on his mission.madara knew his time was near.The person who wins is the person who looks towards the future

It was just revealed that Obito has MS. Also it goes along with the theme of hate being born from those who have been hurt and downtrodden; the theme is about choice, a choice between love no matter your circumstances, or fear translated into hate because of what you've been through.

Obito is an overpowered MS user, why wouldn't he take his body?

Tobi is Obito. Theres no plotholes since Kishi will soon reveal how Obito came to be Toib. So people need to deal with it and move on.

I know Obito has MS ur misunderstanding me. When Obito's body was crushed he didnt have MS. So if Izuna (or any other character) would need a body why rescue Obito, repair his body, let him unlock MS with ONE sharingan(which they couldnt know it would turn out so strong) when their were so many other uchiha's that couldve been used as a shell. And Obito wasnt talented so no ****ing reason to take over his body

Because when his body was crushed he didnt have the MS and so no one knew he could be powerful. He was a FODDER + his body was crushed and missed one sharingan. Doesnt sound powerful to me...! So why take over his body?

Nah he couldnt save himself (he didnt have any doujutsu then that could save himself), even Minato thought he was to late to save him. And Minato just arrived a few minutes after he got crushed. SO between those what 5 (?) minutes somebody saved him. And really I dont see any reason to save such a useless Uchiha back then when there were so many uchiha than. Any other uchiha with a sharingan wouldve been much greater option for a vessel IF somebody was looking for a vessel.
