Speaking of Obito's growth it is possible if i remember correctly during team 7 failed attempt to bring back sasuke, when sakura was reporting the missions outcome to tsunade, sakura said sasuke's accelerated growth was a result from Kabuto's drugs so I guess the same thing was done to Obito
