Madara is going to use Obito as a vessel. I don't think Obito even knows how to use Rinnegan techs, he hasn't used it except for summoning the Gedo Mazo.

neji survived an arrow through the chest. jiraya survived the demon fox cloak attack. i think madara activating the zetsu combined with obito would send chakra through his body which might heal him cause lets face will madara risk rinne tensei failing because obito didn't have enough chakra to bring him back(just a theory)
