I don't really mean that. But the whole "You let Rin die" was... Annoying. Obito as Tobi was enigmatic, we didn't know what he was up to. He lost what made him, him IMO.

To be fair that's what would have happened with all the Tobi candidates after the Mystery died down. I can see where your coming from, but I like the fact that Obito was Tobi, Izuna or Kagami would have been interesting at first but since they didn't really have many connections to other people, they would have eventually become boring and their purpose would be questionable.

He is using that as a excuse. He isn't stuck on the "you let rin die". There is no point even mentioning that. He simply tired of the retarded ninja world that didn't change through peaceful negotiations by Hashirama. He views the countries as selfish countries who thrive on power and want power, and in that process innocent people are killed.

Another problem I have is Obito's readiness to betray everything for the sake of Rin and Madara's plan. And yes, Rin is a huge part of why he's doing it. Perhaps Izuna or Kagami could have had far better origins.
