If he did this it could explain why when he had his hand decapitated he was both bleeding and zetsu goo was flowing out of him, also this may be far-fetched but maybe Zetsu was taking control of his mind to some extent this being the reason Obito didn't know about Minato's techniques.

yeah i mean that's obviously how he looked so much older and the time differences didn't make sense, zetsu's body made him look bigger

I was really bummed about obito being tobi and I thought what ever kishimoto is going to say to explain how it was obito is going to be hard but 602 was eh but 603 put me back on my toes lol he is actually coming up with some good stuff...and yeahh the hand that came off from tobi when facing minato was the left one if Im correct and thats the side that didnt get crushed so its only normal that the goo hand falls of and some bleeding from the real arm under the goo armor

This would also explain why :
-Obito was so big and why Minato couldn't recognize his chakra as it was concealed under the Zetsu shell.
This also explains why the 9 tails thought it was Madara as it is ultimatley Madara's chakra that created the shell .. xd

the zetsu shell must can take over at times......the way the spiral zetsu was acting,thats who when were introduced too when we first saw tobi.and soon as Itachi was out of the way......BAM!!! Obito!!
