"Obito won't die"

I've seen a few people say this and I'm really curious why you guys think he won't die.

I'm not trying to offend y'all or anything like that, I'm genuinely curious why you guys think this. Obito has had quite alot of character development which seems finished up to me as he had his final memories of Rin. Obito stated earlier he would die if he used Rinne Tensei to revive Madara and it seems to me that Madara is about to force Obito to use that jutsu. Meaning Obito is about to make his final plot progression with his final act.

So, to the people who think Obito will live, do you mean he won't die yet or do you think he's really gonna live? I'm sure he'll die within the next few chapters (Kishi prolongs everything) and we won't see him again. So to those who made this statement I'm referring to in the title, would you mind trying to convince me why you think this way? Or can anyone tell me why they think Obito would live period, it seems to me a character like him doesn't deserve to live anymore after all the wrong he has caused. He's my 2nd favorite character and all but it seems to me that his time in the manga is up.

I'm pretty sure he won't die.. His story still seems incomplete and has connections to the main characters.. Madara just wants Hashi's wood honestly.. Not to mention that Obito is the opposite of Naruto.

I dont think hell die immediately but I believe and kind of hope he does..theres no point in good versus evil if the the evil always eventually becomes good and lives? There has to be death to portray realism and to emphasize that the person ( shinobi in this case) dies for their "way of the ninja" Like imagine...would this story be better with narutos dad being alive? No hes death gives naruto reason to continue his way of the ninja..it has meaning to the story and life itself

Well I don't think he's about to die in that panel but he's probably gonna die if not next chapter, the one after. He might talk to Minato but since he's so weakened right now, I can't see how he's gonna mess up Madara's plan. My boy is too exhausted right now.

I hope he dies or else you might call this serie winx club from now on.

Incomplete how though? We have his past and we know of his future. Incomplete maybe by not confronting Sasuke (about manipulation) or Minato (Kyuubi incident and his past) but to Kishi that's hardly anything, he skips over stuff like that. He may be an opposite of Naruto but with Rinne Tensei happening and Obito being as weakened as he is, I just can't see how Obito will live much longer than the next 2 or 3 chapters.

Maybe so but this has been Madara's plan since before the alive generation's mothers and fathers were even conceived! Lol but Madara is making his plan happen now against a weakened Obito so to me, the chances are in his favor.

I think he'll talk a bit to Minato, Naruto, and Sasuke but only very briefly before he dies. And I can't see how Obito can screw up Madara's plans in his current condition and Madara now controlling his body

Well Obito used it to control the jinchuuriki paths in the beginning the same way Nagato controlled his paths. Also, I think Obito attempted to use the Human Path earlier but that seems to be all he has. Both Madara and Obito had planned to use Rinne Tensei at some point, I'm sure Madara knows how to use and he could force Obito to use it since they should both at least know that technique.

Hey, I like him too but to me, he doesn't have much more reason to live in the manga. Plus, I'd rather him die sooner than later before Kishi might ruin his character.

He dosent deserve to die alright! Madara manipulated him for one, and he truly wants to be with rin, he isnt truly evil the events that have occured within the sotry are simply by-products of Obitos goal to see rin again, if hes your second favorite then why would you possibly think that dammit!
