Obito with Gedo Mazou still can't handle Double Rinnegan??

Gedo Mazou has the most life force of anything.

Yet, when he had it in him, he still couldnt use it. Why? Because 1) he directly stated it in the last chapter, and 2) if he could, then as Juubi Jin, he would have recrived the second rinnegan and implanted in right then and there; he knew about the double rinnegan's power the whole time.

Nagato's usage couldn't have been due to life force if Juubito with even greater life force wasn't able to use the double rinnegan.

Although that is true, Obito himself has half a Senju body.

Perhaps that's why could only wield one Rinnegan.

Using the Gedo mazou with all those bijuus are a lot more chakra consumption than anything else we've seen in the series.

Kakashi was even aware of this, he mentioned it chapter before.

Obito noted that he won't be able to hold himself with the double rinnegan, meaning if he takes out his MS....

The eye would change him completely into what Nagato became (pain).

It's not like he doesn't have the chakra for it, he's half senju body.

It's a matter of change in personality that Obito was scared of, not how much chakra is being taken.

Shit is really messed up, nagato used full set but was said to be weaker, obito was stronger but couldnt handle two eyes

Nagato wielded the rinnegan but the price for such power was the lack of control over himself & the fact that madara's will absorbed a large portion of his chakra/lifeforce.

I don't think anyone would've been able to wield both eyes without dying, nagato almost did & we already know that uzumakis can survive things that others would normally instantly die from. [

I'm guessing Nagato was only wielding a fraction of the Rinnegan's power even though he had both just like Obito.

Obito used only one, but in a sense he used it even more effectively than Nagato because he was controlling six jin's at the same time. Having a second one would've been redundant because he would've only reached the same potential By using each Rinnegan half as hard (by which I mean consuming each eye would consume half as much chakra) instead of if he used just one, it would've used the same amount of Chakra and given him the same abilities minus Kamui. So instead he has one rinnegan and his MS so he could keep Kamui but use the rinn techs to his fullest extent.

We can use similar reasoning with Nagato. Even if Nagato used just one, he would've used it just as effectively as when he wielded two by using the single rinnegan twice as hard (again, twice the amount of chakra directed into only one eye = regular amount of chakra in two eyes). The reason Nagato didn't use only one was because he didn't have any replacement eyes (that were valuable like MS or byakugan) and it would've been too much effort safeguarding the second one if he had replaced it with a regular human eye, so it was a waste, thus he just used each Rinnegan half as hard as he would've if he just had 1.

This theory will be confirmed if Madara gets both Rinnegans and uses them on a scale far beyond Nagato and Obito.
